Britannia not so smart as intended
Pros:

The central position in the vicinity of public transport. The receptionist was polite. There was a large TV screeenî JJ nnñ Hughes

Cons:

We stayed for 5 nights.The cleaner never popped in to top up towels, papers or to empty the baskets. The breakfast was overheated and not good value for money.. Basic bedrooms and bathrooms.. The floors were not very clean.. In the corridor there was water dripping from the ceiling.

Pros:

there are so many things we did not like at all
1 i booked it for 2 nights but my car broke down that is why i wasn’t able to check in and they cancelled my booking and put no show and because of that i had to pay triple amount money just for one night
2 We found hair in the breakfast
3batroom i worst
4 rooms are not clean at all every corner stinks when you enter

Great location but outdated hotel
Pros:

Location. While the price is not the best - it's still too expensive I think, it is one of the best options in Edinburgh in terms of affordability.

Cons:

Nothing specifically wrong with the hotel but It seems it has not been refurbished or updated since 2000s. While the room was generally OK, we noticed dirty floors, broken wardrobe hinges. There is also no room service included with hotel.

Pros:

La atención general de los empleados. Fueron muy atentos y siempre tratando de resolver las consultas. Hubo uno en especial (cuyo nombre no recuerdo, rubio y ojos claros) que estuvo en recepción el martes 13-oct por la tarde que fue muy amable y me ayudó a resolver un inconveniente personal. Gran trabajador y mejor persona!!

Cons:

La ducha en habitación 110 tiene una pérdida de agua por debajo de la bañadera creo. Deben fijarse de arreglar eso nada más

Good sleep, nice staff and good location but needs some proper TLC to become lovely again.
Pros:

The room was mainly quiet and the bed comfortable. The staff was very pleasant and the location is good.

Cons:

I stayed in this hotel before and sadly it looks like as if it needs a lot more refurbishment to look proper again. It used to have local live musicians and the outside area next to the waters of Leith used to have a welcoming outside space.
