Houston, we do not have a problem!
Pros:

We toured Texas for the World Cup and this was our last stop. The hotels clean, comfortable with all the amenities you'd expect. In particular, the pool area is outstanding with plenty of beds, lots of room and a relaxed layout. Best kept secret was La Reserve bar which stayed open til midnight with a TV to watch the matches. The hotel has a courtesy car for trips within around 2 miles of the hotel, a really good service if you want a few beers. Further afield, there's loads of shops, bars, restaurants, etc within a 30 minute drive in all directions (the Honey Hole for breakfast is excellent). The Space Centre is about a one hour drive. Worth the visit, but be warned, if you want to see the original Apollo flight centre (as in the film) its classed as a separate tour that needs to be booked online before going. Finally, thank you to Alex for all the helpful advice and to Diane for the cocktails. If we were staying in Houston again, we'd definitely use the Omni. Thank you.

Excellent
Pros:

The environment was absolutely great—very calm and peaceful. There were also many other hotels and restaurants nearby, which made it really convenient without feeling crowded.

The staff were super friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. A special thank you to Alex, who was especially kind, attentive, and extremely service-minded. We truly appreciated his help!

Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Cons:

What I didn’t like was having to pay for the late check-out.

Pros:

Love the location. The staff makes the place special. Also love the black swans!

Cons:

Our room was very warm. A technician came up and it did get better, but still remained somewhat warm. However, we were given a credit which we very much appreciated.

Most staff were nice but this hotel is terrible
Pros:

This hotel wants to be top tier but fails. Not a great experience. Sheets were dirty (gritty stuff between the top and bottom sheets), only outlet by bed was on a lamp and it was broken, the tub was clogged, there was hair plastered on the back of the bathroom door, I had to ask the front desk 3 times for shampoo and finally got it on the last day of my stay; no one cleaned my room in my 3-nights stay (and I really needed sheets, shampoo, coffee supplies, etc), one of the elevators would stall out (the staff literally said it gets stuck sometimes - SO TAKE IT OUT OF SERVICE UNTIL IT’s REPAIRED), and there was a pointless “security” person on my floor who checked room keys when getting off the elevator to make sure you belonged there. What a mess. I will not go back.

Locals who love it.
Pros:

My daughter and I are local and had a staycation here before she turns double digits. Knowing we were there for her birthday, the staff treated her with so much attention and made her feel special. I can't say enough about how enjoyable the trip was. We spent most of our time at the pool, ate on site, and ordered room service for breakfast.

We will definitely be back, and may even get a resort pass for the pool as locals.

Great Staff and Service!
Pros:

The staff were some of the most kind and courteous hotel staff I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. They went out of their way to make you feel welcome. We had mobility challenged family members with us and the staff could not have been any kinder and helpful to us and them.

Omni hotel Houston
Pros:

This hotel is impressive. I was there on a weekend. they had weddings & activities every day, so much much to see happy people at their lobby. Never felt overwhelmed or crowded. NEVER heard noise in my room. The staff is super friendly. the hotel is very clean. My room was spacious, clean & bed/pillows very comfortable. I slept thru the night. Overall, this hotel was excellent!!

Pros:

Nice pools and quiet location

Cons:

Only one smoking area out by valet…I understanding smoking is not everyone’s thing but a lot of people still smoke. Should have a smoking section by the pool. Also the nail salon was closed due to no nail tech. The entire reason I booked here was for the spa for my gf to get her nails done. Nothing showed it was closed on the website and the front desk staff didn’t even know. Pretty dissatisfied with that.
