Great location & staff, very good breakfast, room very dated

Very disappointing for a 5 star hotel
Pros:

Staff on the reception desk were nice. Lobby was nice

Cons:

Rooms were very dated and had mould/ needed a good clean. Had an issue when leaving to go to airport via uber we were cancelled on 3 times due to pickup location getting confused. The hotel called us a taxi which ended up being double the price and we were late to our flight because of all this. Hotel did not want to reimburse us the difference we were forced to pay.

Front counter staff were helpful

Cons:

The rooms were not cleaned properly, towels and amenities were missing after each clean. Had to ask for towels, blankets and amenity top ups each day

Great location but in order to be high end hotel it needs a renovation in the rooms

It is getting old, the tv is super old, the a/c super noisy, 2 of 3 elevators struggled

Pros:

Room was an open plan with two doubles. Not ideal if traveling with todlers. For the price I thought there will be two seperate rooms

Cons:

Phone was broken and only two towels in room. Waited a long time for towels to be delivered.

Really enjoyable stay in the centre of the city. I have stayed here many times before as a Hilton
Pros:

My accessible room was great. Bathroom was excellent with plenty of room to move around in a wheelchair.
Staff were excellent. Friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Restaurant meal was lamb backstrap and was cold. It was sent back and received another cooked just fine and hot.
Breakfast was overpriced in my opinion.

Great stay. Amazing staff. Would stay again.
Pros:

The front desk staff, in particular Tanya were great, very friendly and helpful. We arrived quite early expecting to be told our room wasn’t ready, however we were pleasantly surprised to be let into our room very early which made our day so much easier.
The rooms were very clean and spacious.

Cons:

The only thing was the room had a bit of a musky smell when you first walk into it but I think that’s probably due to it being a bit of an older hotel. We were told they would be renovating the hotel in the next year and the smell did not affect our stay.
