The hotel is great. The location is amazing. Additionally, the staff is very attentive. Tavia and Aubrey are amazing. At check-in, they proactively noticed that I requested a feather free room because I am very allergic to feathers. They quickly handled the issue even though I arrived until very late. Highly recommend this hotel.
Everything
Nothing!
Great location to explore Philadelphia from.
Yaz at the front desk was welcoming, and incredibly helpful. It had been a long day and her attitude and friendliness made the day far better.
Booked a room at the hotel in August 2025 for july 3-5 of 2026 for the world cup. The hotel ended up canceling my reservation without reaching out to me in end of May, where it was far too late to find anything else as it will be a holiday weekend and world cup. The company then refused to take my calls as I asked and seeked for answers. They're attitude was dismissive and unapologetic. A terrible experience for someone who used to book this hotel often. I was only told by TripAdvisor that my room had been cancelled for " renovations". Ironically this had happened to other guests who posted to news outlets in Philadelphia and they were able to have there room reservation un cancelled. So if that is the case is it really reservations or are they canceling rooms from people who booked months in advance at better prices? This MGMT team and hotel is shady and no one can trust their reservation to be held. Don't even think of booking 11 months in advance because they will cancel your reservation, not alert you, then ignore you when you ask for questions
The front desk staff made this stay absolutely incredible! Yaz and Shy are amazing and welcoming. They provided us with friendly service and were accommodating with our special requests pertaining to our tradeshow we were attending. Great location! Lobby is beautifully renovated. We enjoyed our stay!
The Warwick Rittenhouse Philadelphia is absolutely spectacular.
The renovation is tremendous elegant, fresh, and beautifully done while still honoring the charm and history of Philadelphia. Every detail feels thoughtful, polished, and elevated.
The location is truly the best, right in the heart of Rittenhouse, close to everything that makes Philadelphia so special.
Most importantly, the staff is world class. Tavia and the entire team go above and beyond with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality. They make every guest feel welcomed, valued, and cared for.
The Warwick is a beautiful hotel, but the people make it extraordinary. Highly recommend. My favorite hotel!!
The staff was incredibly friendly and very informative. The hotel itself is beautiful and clean. Teyva at the front desk was so welcoming and warm and the doorman was always fantastic! Overall great experience.
My stay here was a 10/10 overall ! Yaz , the lady at the front desk was very helpful and sweet! I would definitely stay here again!

These women are phenomenal.
They really made me feel welcome. I will definitely return back to this hotel as long as they're there Five stars to them both.
The staff was delightful especially the front desk
DAVE THE DOORMAN MAKES EVEEY VISIT HERE SPECIAL. He treats people like humans and is a kind soul!
While after construction/refurbishment is complete this review may no longer be pertinent, however, if you’re looking to book in the near future reconsider! We stayed with a large group and had numerous issues ranging from no linens, shower curtain and garbage cans. All the way to rodents in one families room!!!!! Valet is currently unavailable which is not mentioned on their site and the attached parking garage is not operated by Marriott and had horrible service and is very difficult to access for a larger vehicle. Additionally the fitness center was under construction and not listed as such on their website. I will say all the staff we encountered were very pleasant and tried to remedy all our issues but at some point that can only go so far.
This used to be my favorite hotel in all of Philadelphia. I stayed here several times a year when visiting friends and family in the area. However, this stay was not great. The furniture was so dingy and banged up. Then, we had a leak in the bathroom. It is probably because they plan to remodel and have changed hands to Marriott. I personally hate Marriott so I am now done with The Warwick. We had a good run.
Furniture was chipped, damaged, and overall worn. Toilet leaked on floor. Taken over by Marriott which is a chain I dislike 👎
Mediocre at Best! Once we arrived, we found out that the hotel is getting ready for renovations. That wasn’t really the issues. With snow and ice a week after the storm, there was barely a 18” wide path to get out of a car to the sidewalk and steps. The bellman gets to you after you are almost to or from the Lyft. The rug in front of the elevator gets stuck in the wheels of the luggage, thus a safety issue. Really the issues beyond dated and tired are those of safety for an elderly or handicapped guest. Combined that with the main restaurant not being opened on Mondays, and that is why we stayed there not to have to get out except for a doctor’s visit. At the point we learned that prior to check in, we couldn’t cancel without penalty.
Bottom line, it may become worthy of Marriott Brand status, but not at this time.
This hotel is a worn out dump. I hadn’t stayed here for several years because of that fact and despite it having a fantastic location. Furniture is worn out with desk top wood bubbling and cracking, panels falling off the walls, etc., plus it is pretty dirty everywhere you look. However, Marriott bought the property and they claim on their website the place has been thoroughly renovated, new rooms, etc., etc., etc. They’ve been saying that for a year or two now, so I finally decided to try the place again thinking Marriott is a reputable company so it must be true. Nope. They flat out lied about everything. NOT A SINGLE ROOM HAS BEEN RENOVATED. How do I know? Because the front desk told me so. Plus, now the gym is unavailable as the equipment is all out of order, BUT it is being renovated as well. DO NOT STAY HERE. Marriott is lying, this place has not and is not being renovated and it genuinely is the exact same worn out s—thole (worn out, broken, dirty, etc., everywhere) it was several years ago, only worse now because it is several years older. I won’t trust Marriott again, and shame on me for ignoring all the negative reviews about this hotel on their own website!
The location is perfect
They took away all of the original aesthetics, placed it with modern. But I understand their remodeling, even the rooms which desperately need it.
