Four Seasons…always a good Choice
Pros:

The Four Seasons Hotel on Doheny Drive is a truly wonderful hotel from which to explore beautiful Beverly Hills.
The hotel is very well-maintained, the reception staff was friendly, and our Hollywood Suite was spacious and cozy. Since we were staying on the ninth floor, we were able to make wonderful use of the two balconies.
On the fourth floor is the pool area, which is spacious for an LA city hotel. A pretty pool, exceptionally comfortable loungers, and good service put you in a good mood.
The hotel’s complimentary shuttle service within a 2-kilometer radius is a nice touch, as is the walking distance to Rodeo Drive.
All in all, a lovely hotel to stay for several nights and explore the greater Beverly Hills area, including Brentwood, Venice, and Malibu.
We enjoyed our six nights there and would choose this hotel again anytime.

Old timey Luxury, soon should get a little facelift.
Pros:

Long (10 day) business stay at the Four Seasons. Atmosphere: luxurious, yet understated. Harkens back to the early 2000 and one can easily understand why many celebrities opt to stay here, away from prying eyes. The lobby could use a bit of a refresher. Service: top notch, especially Tom the bellman and housekeeping. Check in desk was courteous but nothing extraordinary. Location: decent, but action is at least a 20 minute walk away (Rodeo Drive, The Grove). Room: 14th floor rooms are beautiful and discreet, the highlight being the ultra comfy bed and spacious bathroom with glass shower and tub. Beware, some lower floor rooms are dated and desperately need an upgrade. Pool: Comfortable, slightly small, no fuss. Food: Probably the lowest mark for the hotel, nothing special or stand out dishes. Very expensive for what you get. Overall, very comfortable but would expect a bit more wow for the rates. A tech upgrade would be welcome in the rooms and the kitchen needs an overhaul.

Great service - those beds are incomparable.
Pros:

The service the Four Seasons offers is excellent. Our room was OK (1118) but the star of the show are the beds. There is something about sinking into that incomparable mattress that just lulls you off to sleep in no time at all. I am Coeliac, and I have to be so careful with food. They gave me my own special gluten free toaster in the room and a separate bigger fridge and I was so grateful for it. We've been coming for a very long time to this hotel and the staff remember us. The welcome always feels genuine. I recommend the Caesar Salad with prawns for lunch - those prawns are enormous! What a treat. We had a great stay as usual. We had a big birthday to celebrate and the hotel staff pulled out the stops for us to make it very special indeed. Thank you! The only downside for us was that we just couldn't use the pool because the music is so loud and not relaxing at all. It's like "Let's have a very loud party" instead of "Let's relax by the pool". Looking around, we noticed that most people were wearing their earbuds and we were not surprised. It stopped us from going there the following days, we tried, we really did, but as soon as we got there it felt so inappropriate to the goal of relaxing that we turned around and left. Which was sad - it's a lovely space. That's why we could only do 4 stars this time.

Wonderful stay
Pros:

We had such a wonderful stay at Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills. My wife and I came out from cold NYC and it was the perfect escape into the California sunshine. The property is beautiful, with lovely landscaping everywhere you look like succulents, citrus trees, and so much greenery that it really feels like a little oasis in the middle of the city.

The spa was incredible. I had the best facial I’ve ever had, and we both also had massages. The therapists were fantastic and you could tell they really knew what they were doing. It was one of those spa experiences where you leave feeling completely relaxed.

We had great meals at Culina for both breakfast and dinner. Juan took wonderful care of us and recommended a beautiful bottle of wine that paired perfectly with our very indulgent order of pastas and steaks. The deconstructed key lime pie at the end was the perfect finish. Even room service was excellent.

Service throughout the hotel was warm, attentive, and effortless. We truly felt taken care of the whole time. It was exactly the kind of trip we needed and we can’t wait to come back.

One of my favorite hotels in LA
Pros:

We had the best stay here. The pool is so beautiful and feels like a little escape tucked into the middle of LA. You could honestly spend the whole day there and be very happy. Pretty pink setting with beautiful sunsets.

Culina was such a highlight too. The carbonara is insanely good and one of those dishes you keep talking about after. We also had drinks at the bar and everything was great, especially the ice cold martinis and the more interesting cocktails.

The lobby florals are gorgeous, and the whole hotel just feels warm and special. But more than anything, the staff really made it. Everyone was so kind and welcoming and made us feel completely at home. We already want to come back.

A heavenly stay! Thank you Four Seasons
Pros:

Five stars, no hesitation. The Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills is one of those places that immediately makes you exhale the second you walk in. The best part for me was honestly the pool. It is so beautiful. Lush, sunny, and calm in a way that feels almost impossible for Los Angeles. It feels like you are tucked into a little pocket of peace above the city, surrounded by palm trees and that classic Four Seasons feeling that everything has been thoughtfully taken care of. We ended up spending far more time there than we expected because it was just that relaxing.
And the food. Wow. We ordered snacks by the pool and I am still thinking about the wagyu tacos. Hands down some of the best poolside food I have had anywhere. Fresh, flavorful, and actually memorable, not just good for a hotel. Everything we ate felt thoughtful and well prepared.

Service was another standout. It never felt stiff or overly formal. It was warm, attentive, and easy. Every person we interacted with seemed genuinely happy to help and truly wanted us to have a great stay. They strike that perfect balance of being there when you need them while still giving you space to enjoy your time. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and quiet, and the entire property has a polished but welcoming energy that makes you want to come back.

If you want a true Los Angeles escape without leaving the city, this is it. I am already looking forward to coming back, mostly for that beautiful pool and those wagyu tacos.

Terrible customer service
Pros:

Extremely disappointing experience and terrible customer service.

My partner and I visited the Four Seasons Spa to celebrate our anniversary, hoping to spend time together before and after our services. Because this is a gender-specific spa, communication was especially important — yet it was completely mishandled.

I waited in the lobby for 20 minutes—twice—while my partner was inside, and the staff never once informed her that I was waiting. Later, I went to the pool, and again, they failed to tell her where I was. As a result, we lost valuable time together on what was supposed to be a special occasion.

What made the situation worse was the response from the manager, Carene. She spoke down to us, dismissed our concerns, and denied that anything went wrong, even though the lack of communication was obvious. There was no apology or accountability—only repeated statements that she “disagreed” with our experience.

For a brand like the Four Seasons, this level of customer service is unacceptable. Our anniversary was impacted, and instead of being met with empathy or professionalism, we were treated with indifference.

I would never return here again. The customer service was terrible, and I do not recommend this spa.

Worst and wasted Thanksgiving experience
Pros:

We were there for their Thanksgiving brunch and it was a huge disappointment.

1. We were seated in the back room where they rolled out banquet tables and chairs. I think paying $250 per person to eat as if I'm paying half price is not appropriate.
2. When I asked the host for a new table, instead of even pretending, she asked what exactly I didn't like about the table and said there wasn't anything she could do.
3. They claim they have live music but... when you are put into the back room sitting on banquet chairs, we can't really hear anything that's going on in the actual restaurant. Bc we weren't eating in the restaurant.... We ate in the back closet.
4. They didn't even have the BASIC Thanksgiving desserts: pecan pie and pumpkin pie. How do you have a Thanksgiving buffet, chatting $250 pp and not have the basic holiday dessert?
5. Every other parties that were brought to this back closet room demanded another table and seemed to be taken away. Except for us, some breastfeeding woman, someone else that brought a DOG, and a group who came in literal sweatpants. Meanwhile, our family took time to dress nice and wear matching outfits. We will never forget the experience and the way the manager and host made us feel like second class citizens or as if we were being given half off for our meals. To pay $1700 for brunch to be treated that way is unacceptable.

I can’t add photos bc we didn’t waste time taking pics of the abhorrent banquet room and banquet tables n chairs. Additionally right above our table was a huge water stain. Truly gross for a four seasons experience.

I've been going to their brunches for Mother's Day in the past and have been sat inside the restaurant and have had good service but after today, will never to back. We let the manager know and he couldn't have cared less.

Quiet and Calm
Pros:

During a busy week, I had to zip to LA for a meeting. I'm so glad I chose the Four Seasons, which proved to be an oasis of calm and quiet elegance. Just what I needed to recharge my batteries. Nothing beats the Four Seasons service. The personal touches. And the beds! I had a wonderful and blissfully quiet stay and will return home a bit less stressed than when I started.

Outdated West Hollywood Four Seasons not Beverly Hills
Pros:

This hotel is so outdated it’s an embarrassment to all Four Seasons. There a real Four Seasons hotel on Wilshire Blvd right off Rodeo that one is fresh. This one isn’t even technically in Beverly Hills it’s West Hollywood they just use that name to be able to charge guest more money. Salvador at valet is not nice at all. Super rude staff all around. Go to one of the 100 hotels around in area that are legit hotels worth your money.

Nice but could be better
Pros:

It was below what I expect of the Four Seasons. When you are paying a crazy price point you expect at least a nice room or great service or ideally both. First the good: front desk was courteous. Room service delivery woman, pool attendants, and spa receptionist were sweet. The waitstaff and especially the bar guy in the morning making coffee were attentive and nice. What knocked it down 1 star - valet parking rude and really poor sense of how to keep the traffic area clear. Like if you are going to be loading or waiting for a vehicle to load, don’t have all 3 cars lined up side by side blocking all 3 lanes of traffic. One night, after 5 minutes of waiting in my vehicle when I just want to get going, I suggested they move the parked car off to the side I was told “we are busy right now!” (I can see that but honestly my high school kid could easily tetris the vehicles around to create an open thoroughfare). The “wellness room” I paid a little extra for on fitness level came with a yoga mat BUT no place to do yoga in the room! Small room and more on par with an Aloft room. The Osea body lotion seemed watered down and not hydrating (should have stuck with L’Occitane products). Front desk staff in evening sometimes seemed a little like they were in training? Nice enough but would say no to things until a coworker who overheard would come over and correct them. This happened with a couple of front desk staff. I feel like the default at most 5 star hotels is to accommodate the guest, so if the staff is new, they should say “let me check” first. I was disappointed but 80% of the staff was great so 4 stars.
