The hotel has beautiful gardens and a peaceful, nature-filled setting that makes it very relaxing. The location is excellent, with easy access to Hagley Park and Christchurch city centre.

Cons:

The hotel is a little dated and could benefit from some refurbishment. Also, the toilet didn’t flush properly and often required several attempts, which was inconvenient.

Comfortable, quiet - despite being so close to the city Centre.
The food at the Garden Court Brasserie is amazing!

Cons:

That we couldn't have a longer "staycation" to enjoy more and to see the gardens. Next time for sure!
