Pros:

Friendly, helpful and efficient staff. The cleanliness. Incredible breakfast choice. Handy position with buses outside their door and nearby. Shopping centre and many restaurants next door. And so quiet.

Very spacious room with a nice view on the 15th floor. Nice pool & gym. Great location close to restaurants and a 30min walk to Marina Bay Sands.

Besides the issue with breakfast, the stay was amazing and best service.
Pros:

We loved the staff members and the service. We also loved our room it was clean and well kept. The bedding is one of the best we’ve been to!!

Cons:

Lack of halal options and clarity whether the food was halal or not which limited our options at the breakfast.

A really nice hotel but need to address some small issues.
Pros:

The Amara is a comfortable, great looking hotel in a great area. Big shout out to Keith and Adil who work hard to make sure guests feel welcome and always have a smile. Keith is a great mentor.

Cons:

A few inconsistencies. If you wanted a drink to have with your lunch you had to trot out to the bar to get it. Couldn’t pay in cash. Had to be in card and if you had booked through a platform like Booking.com you couldn’t put any charges to the room. Seems to have been a bit of a turnover of staff from last year. Service in the dining room was hit and miss.

The large rooms were impeccably clean and the bed was really comfortable

Cons:

Ordered a gin and tonic downstairs that was expensive and got half a glass!

Had a bad experience with the attitude and service of a staff member in one of the restaurants. Delivered the wrong order and then deliberately ignored our attempts to follow up on our order.

This service wasn’t what we expected from a five star hotel.

Stylish interior, really comfy and great location
Pros:

Room was exactly like the pictures, clean and nice smelling, and had amazing bedding (pillows, bed linen, duvet) so I had an amazing sleep. Really like the lighting design and setup, which matched well with the wood tones of the room to create a cozy, relaxing and intimate aesthetic. Liked that the bathroom and toilet was smartly concealed behind frosted glass and wood respectively that it looked like they were part of the walls. Great central location to food places for a staycation or even for those travelling/on holiday.

Cons:

Digital check in was not as smooth because I keyed in the wrong booking code number but was not able to edit it so wasn't able to retrieve my booking. Also not sure how early in advance if early-check in could be accommodate and how to confirm if it was provided, as I had emailed in to ask but didn't get a clear answer beyond 'subject to availability upon check in'. Had also requested for complimentary birthday arrangements but didn't receive any as again subject to availability.

Perfect for us and memorable .
Pros:

The location was perfect , breakfast was great. The staff made it amazing especially the concierge and door staff, always welcoming and helpful, nothing was too much trouble . Rooms beautiful and clean. Pool area lovely. Would absolutely stay again .
