If you are a light sleeper, the noise can wake you up. The outdoor patio in common area is my favorite part of the hotel
Pros:

Location was convenient and closed to downtown. Being walking distance to Mayfair mall is a bonus.

Cons:

The walls between rooms are thin, you can hear noise from next door and hallway.

Great value all round. We'll stay again when in Victoria.
Pros:

Nothing more to add. Excellent hotel, facility and congenial staff for the traveller. This hotel had a 'new' feel to it due to its cleanliness and efficiency. It is well located for Island travel and served our purposes well. We liked the ample parking and little 'extras', such as 24/7 coffee and 'little deck' on the second floor. Somebody really does give a duck!

Nothing that we can think of ... but don't get complacent because, in the end, everything can be improved.

Pros:

Comfort bed. Room is not updated. Queen room has kitchenette and stove, and frig in case I need to prep food to cook or bring it to my small RV. Also has plenty of open air parking space for tall RV/vehicle. Also next to a burger joint.

Pros:

It was quite convenient for driving into town. We were two adults and one child and the room was big enough. The staff were friendly and professional

The noise from the road. The room was pretty dirty. Crumbs and hairs on the floor. Coffee from previous guest still in the coffee pot

Disappointed
Pros:

The beds were OK.

Cons:

I tried to arrange an early check in at 3:30pm. They could not do that for me until I escalated my concerns. The door wasn't closed when I got to my room. I did not have to use my key card, just pushed it open. I was nervous to go in as a woman staying alone. Room was OK but bathroom had a very very long curly hair hanging from the bathroom doorknob. Not OK. Not enough toilet paper in the room. Two half rolls were left with no spare rolls. I could hear the people above me and the people outside the bar. Not a great sleep.

Outrageous pricing and horrible rooms
Pros:

Nothing. Looked great in pics and reviews

Cons:

Bad odor in room. Open door into room. Floor was dirty. Not a good sign of what was next. Lighting was terrible. Bed was small and very uncomfortable pillows were horrible. Bed is at rear of room with no airflow or any window. Bathroom so small, door swings inward just misses toilet.
Have to step around door to close. Shower had no pressure. Can hear people above walking around while in bed. For $312/night price was outrageous for the room. Plus additional 20 bucks for a pet. Will never stay there again.
