Huge lobby with a very weird connection to the rooms. Underwhelming. Toilets very LOW to the ground.
Having had some pretty darn good stays at less expensive hotels I was a bit disappointed in this one. First of all, there is no included breakfast. They are attached to a fancy looking restaurant instead. With food prices being what they are, this is a reason to find another stay in and of itself. The first night my door card didn't work and I had to go back down to the lobby with my luggage to get it sorted out. Not a big deal, but when I came back the next night exhausted, the new card to my new room didn't work either. Small things...but. The bathroom lights are ridiculous...perhaps they are going for moody? Spend the money and put in decent lighting is what mood came to my mind.
The bathtub looked like it had seen better days, silicone pulling from the wall.
In defense, the room was very clean. Front desk help was polite and helpful. The water pressure in the shower was excellent.
However I was expecting a little more than a Super 8 and it definitely isn't.

Unfortunately I did not know it was under renovations. No noise but the water was an issue during my stay except for my check out day.
Hot water was very scarce.
I had booked my room a month and half for a romantic getaway for Valentines Day, I knew it was going to be busy so thought why not book well in advance. Not even a week before I received a email stating the room I had booked was now under construction. They wanted to offer another room but not one like I had originally booked. I'm still very upset about this as I've always enjoyed staying here.
The restaurant is excellent. The manager went above and beyond to make correct a mistake from the kitchen. Terrific service.
The heater/ air conditioner was very noisy and had difficulty regulating room temperature at any setting.
