Beacon Hotel & Corporate Quarters

Un poco incómoda la recepción, pero es inevitable ya que están haciendo reformas al hotel.

Major refurbishment underway, meaning no lounge, no bar, no restaurant and we were not made aware of this when booking

El segundo día se llevaron el bote de jabón de ducha y ningún día nos lo repusieron. Las zonas comunes (hall de acceso) son muy antiguas, entiendo que están reformando por fases. La tarjeta de la habitación nunca funcionaba y teníamos que bajar de nuevo a que nos la activaran.

Our stay at Beacon was a series of problems, we stayed there for 3 nights, in chronological order:
1. At check-in, we were informed that yes, we're staying for 3 night, but we will need to change room after first night
2. We got the keys for the room, it turned out that the room was in the middle of AC maintenance and the AC is disassembled in the middle of the room
3. After notifying staff what's happening I got informed that they don't have another room, after escalating another room has been found
4. In the morning, it turned out that the door handle in the new room is disconnected from the inside - leaving us inside without a way out. The telephone to the front desk was disconnected, I needed to call for help.

Overall, the staff attitude was really bad, I don't recommend

construction everywhere, elevators not working

שהגענו למלון עם הרכב היה נראה שהמלון סגור, לאחר בדיקה הבנו שהמלון נמצא בשיפוצים והכניסה דרך המסעדה. לא אהבתי שלא צויין בשום מקום שהמלון בשיפוצים, ובעקבות כך כמעט כלל המתקנים במלון לא פעלו, המסעדה הבר על הגג וכו' זה יצר הרגשה קצת לא נעימה כאילו אנחנו לנים באתר בנייה. עם כל זאת יש ליין שלא שמענו את השיפוצים בחדר בכלל!!. דבר נוסף שלא אהבתי זה שמחיר החנייה ללילה מאוד מאוד גבוה דרשו ממני 76 דולר ליממה מחיר מטורף!! מזל שהייתי צריך חנייה רק ללילה אחד אז חניתי ברחוב בלילה בחינם וקמתי מוקדם בבוקר ונסעתי

Muy lamentablemente el hotel está en remodelación, por lo que no tenía restaurante, lobby sin poder usarse. En Booking cuando hice la reserva, no había un anuncio que estuviera en remodelación.

Minusem był hałas z rana ponieważ w obiekcie trwał remont ale jest to zrozumiałe, przez większość dnia i tak nie było nas w pokoju. Dodatkowo w łazience mogłaby by być dłuższa zasłonka prysznicowa, woda dostaje się poza prysznic.

I had a rough first night. The room was hot A/C wasn't working right, but the staff gave me another room, and that room was so much better and no microwave

UNDER CONSTRUCTION

Our experience at this hotel was unfortunately very disappointing due to check-in delays, room discrepancies, poor service, and plumbing issues.

We arrived at 4:00 PM for check-in, but our room was not ready. We left for over an hour to grab something to eat, but upon returning, we still had to wait another 30 minutes before finally being assigned a room.

Furthermore, we did not receive the room type we paid for. We had booked a suite with a small kitchen, but we were given a renovated room without a kitchen, and the staff did not inform us of this change. When we noticed the error and asked to switch to the room we actually booked, we were moved to an outdated, dark suite on the second floor. It looked nothing like the photos online, felt very claustrophobic, and the kitchen was barely functional—equipped with only a single fork, knife, spoon, and plate. Because the room was so unpleasant, we felt we had no choice but to move back to the renovated room. As a result, we spent our entire stay without the kitchen we had planned on using to cook breakfast for our children.

The service and housekeeping were also highly disappointing. There is no room service available, and when we requested extra towels—since the room was only prepared for two guests despite us being a party of four—we were told we had to come down to the reception to pick them up ourselves. Housekeeping management was equally poor; one morning, a cleaner knocked on our door around 9:00 AM. We asked them to return a bit later since we were heading out shortly, but they never came back, leaving our room uncleaned for the rest of the day. The following day, we had to explicitly request room cleaning at the reception desk just to get it taken care of.

Lastly, there is a major issue with the water pressure. Whenever a neighboring room flushes a toilet, the cold water completely cuts out, causing the shower water to suddenly become scalding hot.

UNDER CONSTRUCTION. Rooms not ready for prime time. Had to share elevator with dirty construction workers daytime. Resturant an c roof top bar CLOSED. Only valet parking. $77 one night without tipping!

It’s completely under renovation which wasn’t really clear when I booked the room so except for the hallway and a room, the rest of the hotel is old, dirty and dusty as you can expect when all is under renovation.
Also, some work in the renovated rooms was done poorly so the shampoo dispensers were only glued to the tiles and it all came down in the middle of the night waking me up.

THE WHOLE BUILDING IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION. They dont tell you that you only figure out when you enter the hotel from a grill bar door. They test fire alarm several times a day. One of the elevators are only used by construction workers, and the other one works whenever it wants. Their parking rate is scam dont fall for it.

Durch Umbau zum Zeitpunkt des Aufenthaltes (Juni 2026) leider kein Frühstück, Bar oder Restaurant. Soll jedoch in 2 Monaten fertig sein.
