There is nothing I would change about this Hotel or staff. It is my go to place. I’m there about si. Times a year minimum. The location is perfect for my needs. It’s surrounded by amazing eateries in walking distance. Best sushi across the street. Best pizza pasta across the street. Nearby beaches. A Europe sophisticated feel neighborhood. Inside service like you would never expect. The pool is quiet calm serenity. The game room is amazing and acts as your personal lounge most nights with pool table huge tv comfy couches and old school table shuffle board. Room service is on the money good. The rooms are immaculate and beds are to die for. Now the restaurant is better all the time. Food is very well prepared and healthy. Maria the manager of the restaurant known as the Aragon cafe is so very on point. Her staff is attentive and kind. Makes you feel at home. That’s so important when you travel a lot. The wait staff is so pleasant and that’s so uplifting as a traveler. Umberto is amazing attending to not just luggage and concierge service . He is so attentive to your needs that you can’t help but thank him over and over. The bar is well stocked with top end bourbons and served the best sliders. In the last year Nick at the front desk has been so very accommodating in a pleasant and sincere way. He is also funny. I have nothing but praise for this hotel. In an area like coral gables it’s not easy to please everyone but if your a traveler like me having lived in a Marriot for over a year at times, you will be happy with this choice.
This is our neighborhood Cafe ( Cafe Aragon @ The Colonnade Hotel Coral Gables . We are downtown coral gables residents and have lived in Cotal Gables for 15 years we are lucky to have restaurants galore waking distance . Yet we love love !! our best kept secret neighborhood breakfast cafe Aragon. Manager Maria Ballesteros always received us with a welcoming smile as do all the waitresses .. service is on point and ambiance is excellent 👍 . Being that my husband is a chef he tends to be very critical but at this little cafe he always feels that they put in the effort to serve quality food, eggs are always cooked to perfection, best bacon in town. I usually get the spinach, mushroom and feta cheese omelette and my husband orders the classic eggs Benedict.
They also have a breakfast buffet just the right snout of options for a great price !!
We have had lunch every so often and it’s really really good !! We give it 5 stars across the board.
Thank you Maria and your staff including your amazing chef for all our lovely conversations snd amazing food.
Cheers Marissa Marquez Giannone & Sir William ✌️
Room Overall
I had to pay for breakfast and separate fees for valet parking (day and overnight)
My recent stay at Hotel Colonnade Coral Gables was excellent from start to finish. The property is beautiful, well-maintained, and perfectly located in the heart of Coral Gables. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and provided everything needed for a relaxing stay.
What truly made the experience memorable was the outstanding service. Humberto, the concierge, was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and always willing to go the extra mile with recommendations and assistance. Nico at the front office was equally professional, friendly, and efficient, making both check-in and check-out seamless.
The entire staff made me feel valued as a guest, and their attention to detail did not go unnoticed. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and look forward to staying here again in the future.
Humberto the concierge and Niko from front office were great
First the location is prime in the heart of coral gables close to all the nice restaurants . The hotel is a little old but it’s still gorgeous with comfortable and very clean rooms. I was very impressed with the quality or service , everyone so friendly and welcoming. Please reward Nico in from office who really makes a difference in guest experiences, at least for me :)
Amazing property, filled with rich history and stunning architecture. The hotel is shinning due to its amazing customer service. We will be back!
We have visited the hotel many times as our son was going to the U. From the first visit to our last one, Humberto always makes the stay special with his attention to details and smile no matter what he is doing, he always made us feel special.
The hotel is in a great location with so many restaurants around and you get to see an occasional wedding every once in a while.
I stayed at this hotel in February for a wedding and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience with guest security and customer service. While getting ready in my room for the wedding, I took my shoes off and never saw them again. Numerous people entered the room throughout the day and several guests later confirmed they had seen the shoes in the room before they disappeared.
I immediately contacted the hotel hoping they would help investigate, check cameras, or make some effort to locate the missing item, especially considering the value of the shoes. Unfortunately, the response was extremely dismissive. I was simply told the shoes were “lost,” and no real investigation ever seemed to happen. Months later, I still have no answers, follow-up, or resolution.
For a luxury hotel, I expected a much higher level of professionalism, care, and guest support. I tried handling this privately and respectfully first, but after receiving little to no help, I feel it’s important to share my experience with future guests.

I was in town to celebrate my daughter’s graduation receiving her doctorate from university o Miami. The front desk representatives Jessica and Alex made the entire trip enjoyable. They were personable and professional !11 The hotel was located in a great area and I had no complaints on anything. Hope to visit again!
Excepcional, very good Boutique Hotel the location is very
We enjoyed a weekend stay at the Colonnade. The attendants at the front desk and hotel staff were friendly and helpful and seemed to genuinely want us to enjoy our stay. Valet parking was easy, and we didn't have to wait long for our car to be returned. The entrance of the hotel is a bit confusing, as it inhabits certain floors within a multi-use office building. Reception is found on the 2nd floor from the general building office elevator. What we found confusing is that the hotel elevators list reception as the ground floor. The hotel is very popular for events (specifically weddings) which take over the ground floor of the building. Thankfully, the noise from the weddings could not be heard in our room. The pool and hot tub were nice but had limited seating. Our room was attractive, large, clean, and comfortable, but had a slightly mildewy smell when you entered. The amenities included bar soap, moisturizer, and mounted on the shower wall: shampoo, conditioner, and body gel. It was hard to tell if these products were safe for color treated hair. The in-room safe and telephone were not functioning, We did not contact management about this. Breakfast was a bit of a disappointment. On Sunday, you can order off a menu, but not on Monday. There were limited options on the buffet and not all at the right temperature. Also, they strangely did not have basic black (breakfast) tea. There are several restaurants attached to the hotel building. The best asset of this property is its location on the Miracle Mile.
la Habitacion estaba limpia
el trato de una de las recepcionistas
We were there for my daughter’s wedding weekend. Humberto, the concierge, was the very best part! Everything was absolutely amazing.
Humberto the concierge was phenomenal! Beyond excellent customer service. Unforgettable. He made my valet issue seem like nothing with how he treated me at check in.
Horrific valet service. Extremely unprofessional and unorganized.
Visited for a week on a business trip.
Very central in Downtown Miami and situated in a nice and safe neighbourhood- with bars and restaurants close by.
Good and easy check in - but the room I was allocated first was 206 and I might as well have slept in the lift shaft. I was right next to the lift and it was ridiculously noisy. I think they should only offer those rooms as a last resort and at a discounted price. To be fair, I talked to the front desk and they moved me the same day - and to a suite for my troubles.
Rooms were both very nice - everything you need and very clean.
Had an enjoyable stay and the staff were very helpful.
Just watch out for the large parties, eg weddings at the weekends as you can feel you are gatecrashing someone else’s party!
