The two guys that was working the front desk in the evening and in the morning were amazing and so friendly!
I had a surprise $500 charge on my credit card I noticed weeks later. When I inquired, they claimed it was either for smoking or vaping in the room but couldn’t provide any details or specify which one it was. Since I don’t smoke or vape, I was very confused. The person on the phone told me there was nothing they could do about it, which seemed alarming they would make a surprise charges three times the cost of the room without any notification at all. Why wouldn’t they call the room or text me like they often do when you check in?
I travel weekly and recall one of my hotel rooms having a faint trace smell of smoke that I didn’t report to the front desk immediately. I’m not sure if this was the same hotel, but my only guess is what happened.
This business can randomly charge you $500 because they have your credit card information on file and then claim there’s nothing they can do about it, feels like some new type of hotel scam. The next time I check into a room and it smells like smoke in the bathroom they better be paying me $500.
After researching it, I’ve discovered that there are issues with their silent sensors being triggered by other stimuli like steam or aerosol deodorant. It seems that someone at Marriott corporate is making reckless business decisions and engaging in games with loyal customers who have been frequenting their properties for over two decades, spending anywhere from 80 to 200 nights annually. If this is the state of business practices today, I will no longer be doing business with any Marriott properties as a platinum lifetime and a current titanium member.
They charge for parking on their own surface lot in a small town downtown area. It’s unusual for a courtyard to do this in a “city” of this size (the Courtyard Marriott downtown Indianapolis offers free parking). If you inquire, they’ll simply say, “It’s posted on our website.”
Estaba muy limpio y olia muy delicioso
Todo nos gustoʻ
staff was very friendly and helpful. room was comfortable.
there wasn't anything I didn't like. the location ok.
Our room was INFESTED with ants! Not just a few but everywhere. I told the front desk over and over, and all they offered us was a couple of breakfasts. Thats it. Worse yet, I paid over 1000 per night for the room, as we were there on graduation weekend. For about 1200 a night, I could have found a better place to stay or at least have the ants pay for part of our bill!!! We were in room 105. Management was talked to repleatedly, they had no interest in doing anythingn on our behalf.
Good location
Paid parking for Marriott gold
Walking distance to the best Bloomington has to offer, super clean rooms, and they are managing the new construction very well! Very nice staff and overall great hotel!
Very nice and comfortable.
Nothing. Perfect location
Entrance was closed for construction and new entrance was not well marked. Front desk staff was very helpful.
The location is good and the room was OK as well
The breakfast was not good. There was no breakfast buffet and I had to order what I wanted to eat at the desk of the lounge. But the choice was very limited and what you could order was extremely expensive. Moreover, there was only one employee to help all guests, so also waiting times were not optimal
Staff wss very nice.
The Hotel had construction going on but it didnt affect our stay.
Convenient, large room
Was under major renovation. Price didn’t reflect that .
I booked the room here to visit my son at Indiana University. Booked the flights and restaurants. I get an email from manager Lee Vanhorn that they overbooked and cancelled my reservations, offering nothing other than calling Marriott customer service. So i call and they book me an hour away. Unreal. Why take a reservation you can't keep? Literally a Seinfeld episode.
