Ryhanna was always smiling and there was also a smile in voice! Very proud of her hotel and city. Gave us great directions to dinner.
Moses is awesome, knowledgable, and made our dinner special!!!
Gianna was an absolutely incredible waiter and curated a perfect evening.
The best bartender ever. Great recommendations. Such a fun night
Location is good and common areas are maintained really good 😊
Breakfast was disgusting payed 20$ for cold avacodo sandwich which I couldn’t finish because it was bad , staff is not proactive I had to go and ask for everything .
Gabe was absolutely amazing, knew his way around an espresso martini like no one else! Super friendly, created an amazing ambiance and made the experience 10/10.
Excellent hotel right by the lake. I came for the marathon - the start and finish are only a few minutes walk. The front desk was very friendly and did not have any issues with a late check-out so that I could shower after the marathon before going to the airport for my flight home. I was upgraded to a city-view suite which was clean and very well equipped. There was a refreshment station in the hallway available for everyone which had a cappuccino coffee machine, teas, hot chocolate, still and sparkling water from a tap. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning and heating were very effective, great shower water pressure. The elevators were fast. And, an afternoon cheese and deli meat reception open to everyone. No airport shuttle was perhaps the only negative but Uber/Lyft to/from the airport was fast and relatively inexpensive.
Amazing experience especially for the marathon! This was our first time in Vermont and we will be back!
Great food. Excellent service! Our server, Moses, was friendly, knowledgeable, and a lot of fun! Glad we took a chance on the "hotel restaurant". It was totally worth jt!
The food was awesome. Delicious oysters, the hush puppies were a revelation, I loved the lobster agnoletti, and the snowball in hell was a huge chocolate-y delight. But the service was the real star of the show; probably the best I've ever had at a restaurant. Moses was so personable, friendly, and knowledgeable about the food and drinks, and willing to take the time to explain a little of the background of each dish before we ordered them. We are blessed to live in an area with many great restaurants, but the Original Skiff takes a rightful place toward the top of my list.
Moses was an excellent server for our elegant anniversary night on the town! The hush puppies with maple butter were top notch, as was everything from fresh oysters to entrees to dessert. We live in Vermont and have our regular choice of culinary establishments, but we will definitely return here for an elevated experience.
Food was extraordinary, service was better. Very accommodating. We came two days running and anticipate another visit.
Thanks, Moses.
We’ve stayed here many times. Great service and location.
I absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Champlain. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. My room was spotless, comfortable, and had an amazing view overlooking the lake and the Adirondack Mountains.
The location was perfect — easy walking distance to both the waterfront and downtown Burlington. I also really appreciated the thoughtful extra touches throughout the hotel, especially the beverage center on each floor with still and sparkling water, coffee, and tea available anytime.
Lily May’s was the perfect way to start the morning. The natural light, maple wood tones, greenery, and relaxing music created such a calm and inviting atmosphere.
Everything about the experience felt easy, relaxing, and absolutely delightful. The attached parking was also a huge bonus. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Burlington.
Ryhanna at the front check in is WONDERFUL, she is attentive, bright, welcoming, and an absolute delight. The atmosphere walking into the lobby is light and beautiful, a delightfully refreshing flavored water at check in, the best!
Very happy with the hotel and their services. Ryhaana at the front desk was a delight.
