Another fantastic evening at The Skiff! We don’t get in nearly often enough but the food is always A+, the atmosphere glorious and the team on-point.
BUT tonight we had the ABSOLUTE pleasure of having Moses as our server. My goodness. The gent was polished, personable, professional and proud. Best server in Vermont? Quite possibly.
See you next time Skiff..,.and we will be requesting Moses again!
Moses is the best waiter ever he’s the GOAT!
We had a lovely time at the hotel over the holidays (Canada Day and July 4th). The staff was really helpful and even helped us print out our boarding passes. The restaurants onsite were good and the hotel was so convenient to the local attractions--just a few minutes walk to the Church Street Marketplace, the waterfront and shops on Pine Street.
Excellent meal and fantastic service at Original Skiff. Moses our server took the time to describe all the meals and was a pleasure. We will return.
If you guys aren’t able to keep Moses, I would like to hire him to be my personal waiter. He can come with me to every restaurant I dine at. I don’t need any other waiters, I need Moses, everywhere I eat.
We really enjoyed the restaurant. Moses and Gianna provided us with excellent service at Original Skiff. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was fun. Right in the heart of Burlington. The rooms were clean but one of our room’s ac broke, but the hotel moved swiftly and provided us with another room.
Chris and Dan were fantastic bartenders...familiar with many drinks, anle to recommend specific brands and dinner suggestions and very conversant! Top notch service and conversation. Higly revommend this bar and restaurant!
The hotel was great! Ryhanna was very friendly and welcoming at check-in. We were upgraded to the presidential suite and she had a gift sent to our room for our anniversary. The room was spacious and clean with a beautiful view of the lake. They have bikes you can check out to ride around the lake and town. There are coffee/tea/hot chocolate and water stations on each floor. There is a coffee shop with breakfast and pastries as well as a restaurant on site. Highly recommend and would stay here again!

We ate at Skiff the 2nd night of our stay. Moses, our server, was not only knowledgeable about the food choices, he was friendly, funny, and very pleasant. He made the whole experience very memorable.
Location and view of lake from our room was fantastic, but for the expensive price I expected more from a Hilton. The maid service was horrible. Made bed in a sloppy manner, gave us new shabby towels and no bathmat.
Places to eat in hotel were limited with limited opening times and not much selection.
Rooms themselves needed updating. The sink was outside the shower and toilet and it was extremely dark with poor lighting.
Also no pool.
Sitting outside on the mezzanine was nice.
Most importantly, we would like to give recognition to Ella at the front desk who was most helpful to us as senior citizens. Upon check in she was very welcoming and professional. Each time we passed by the desk she smiled and said hello. She went over and above to see that we were comfortable and able to make our connections for the remainder of our visit. She helped us with bike and uber connections which helped make our last day special. Many thanks to her. Congratulations on hiring such a quality individual.
Convenient to waterfront activities and shopping within walking distance. Bikes available at no cost to ride the path along lake front.
Plenty of spaces for conversation and fireplaces outside with chairs to sit and visit.
Room was very quiet with blackout curtains. Helpful bc sun rises on that side of the hotel. Although we would have enjoyed a lake view, we were satisfied with a city view. Bathroom was tight but adequate.
Great experience overall! Bartenders Chris and Tai were so helpful. The cocktails and deviled eggs were killer. Don’t skip the creemees!
We had a spectacular time dining outside tonight! Moses did a great job accommodating all our special requests and making it such a fun evening!
First time here and the food was exceptional, drinks were a perfect complement. Our server Harrison was the absolute best. We’ll be back!
