View was very nice
We paid $30 per person, per day in advance for breakfast, and the quality and selection did not come close to what we expected for that price. I would be very surprised if upper management is aware of what is actually being offered to guests for this charge.
In addition, we were charged for parking and Wi-Fi, along with other amenities that are typically included at many hotels. When paying more than $300 per night, I would expect a higher level of value and more basic amenities to be included.
Overall, the additional charges combined with the disappointing breakfast made the stay feel significantly overpriced. Based on this experience, I would not choose to stay at this hotel again.
We had the best dinner and incredible service at Skiff with Moses as our server. He described the food in detail and he made spot-on recommendations for wine, oysters, and the specials. Moses was always nearby and so professional, and in addition, so engaging, warm and friendly. We loved it all and had a 5 star experience.
I had a wonderful experience at Original Skiff at Hotel Champlain. The food was absolutely amazing, and our server, Moses, made the evening even better. He was exceptional, kind, attentive, and genuinely made me feel welcome. Great food and outstanding hospitality—I highly recommend it!
TV did not work
We were treated to an incredible dining experience and taken well care of by Moses. Moses really helped guide our menu choices and a great dinner.
Moses was 12/10. Very knowledgeable and personable. Took excellent care of us. oh and the food was delicious too!
Moses was the BEST server! So knowledgeable, very kind, perfect timing, and took our experience from good to amazing. Probably the best server we’ve ever had. Highly recommend the food and atmosphere here and request Moses if you can!
Location was perfect Staff was amazing! So friendly and helpful. It was our anniversary and they sent us up a lovely card and some champagne!!!

I was here on business and had the opportunity to eat by myself in the restaurant. Sarah - the hostess was amazing and greeted me warmly and made me feel welcome right away. Bella, my server did an amazing job taking care of me as well! I had their lobster roll and it was amazing!! Definitely will be coming back for both the food and service!
The lake view from the room was beautiful. The hotel is within walking distance from the center of the city. Buffet breakfast was excellent.
This hotel is way overpriced. The room and especially the bathroom were very small. Furniture is outdated and the room could use some fresh paint.

THE CHAIRS ARE AN ATTACK ON THE THICC COMMUNITY. i think my hips are bruised?? it was truly an alarming seating experience. 1 star deducted for chairs.

The food at the Skiff was a wonderful way to end our trip. Moses was a wonderful server absolutely the best!

We stayed at Curio on Tuesday night when we flew into Burlington and again on Monday night when we flew out. At the front desk, Anthony, checked us in. He was so kind and helpful both times. We ate the breakfast buffet on mezzanine. It was one of the best buffets I’ve ever eaten. The hotel was so close to everything. It was a perfect location. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.
