Great safe stay close to V&A waterfront
Pros:

Excellent location, easy to get to stop 1 of HOHO Red bus, as well as waterfront restaurants and shops. Good breakfast, good room with everything we needed

Nice stay close to the Water Front
Pros:

This was a nice hotel conveniently located near the waterfront. Staff was friendly and the rooms were clean and nice. Our room was directly over the pool and bar area. The first night there was a private event that was very loud, but thankfully ended around 10:30/11. The breakfast was nice with someone making eggs to order. Overall it is a nice hotel, I would stay again, but nothing super special about it.

The Bay Area loves the Portswood staff

We had a wonderful stay and all of the staff were amazing and warm! We hope to return and see you all again. The food was delicious and the wait staff and chef incredible engaging❤️

Great Location
Pros:

Excellent location, but unfortunately the hotel has some issues with noise from doors closing. In addition, kitchen smells enter the rooms in the morning, and the hallway becomes filled with cooking odors as if the food was prepared there. We hope the hotel can address these issues to improve the guest experience.
