Hotel Triton Union Square San Francisco

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms were clean, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day of exploring.

What truly made our stay special was the outstanding service. A huge shoutout to JC and Esme, who were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our entire visit. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.

Great atmosphere, fantastic team, and lovely rooms. We will definitely be coming back!

Great customer service from Esmeralda and JC. I called before booking through a 3rd party and JC was super helpful and didn't make me feel like I was bothering him with my questions and he did not rush me off the phone.
When I got to the parking garage I called to see if we could check in early. Esmeralda was like yes, no problem, we'll have one ready for you when you get here.
My husband checked in and got to talking with both of them. He told them we were going to the Giants game and it was our 20th Anniversary. JC immediately upgraded our room which was super cool and unexpected. My husband is BIG on customer service so that initial interaction set the tone for the weekend.
I'll definitely book here again.

部屋も、綺麗で可愛かったです！クッションもいい高さで、寝る前に足を乗せて浮腫が取れた！
朝食も、3種類のパンと、2種類の飲み物！果物もあった！満腹になったから満足です。
ホテルの周りは人通りが多いから、治安も〇！
Uberや、ウェイモも停めやすいです。

またサンフランシスコに行くことがあったら絶対泊まる！

Took a chance on this hotel and loved all of it, great amenities and the room was very comfortable. Great staff, super friendly and helpful, checking was a breeze and painless thanks to Jay A. at the front desk! Great location to many things to shop, eat, and do. Discounts to the restaurant and the gelato shop next door! Honestly, I will definitely be staying here again.

We recently stayed 2 nights at Triton Hotel (Aug 3-4, 2026). It was supposed to be a relaxing getaway with my partner, but the hotel stay turned out to be a major disappointment.

First, our room was tiny, had a musty smelling carpet and scuffed furniture. The bathroom was so small it was hard to close the door once you were inside, and the narrow shower enclosure inadequately prevented water from splashing all over the floor. For a hotel that is advertised as a 4-stars, it was surprising.

The front desk representative who checked us in was courteous and helpful. And the housekeeping person was great. However, we clashed with Jay, the hotel manager, on the second night. That evening, we drove up to the valet parking kiosk in front of the hotel and waited over 20 minutes behind two cars left unattended at the curb. No attendant was at the booth the whole time we were waiting so I subsequently went inside the hotel lobby and asked Jay when we could expect valet parking service. He told us that the attendant was busy so we should just try squeezing our big rental car into the spot between the two unattended cars. After I expressed my concern that the space was too tight to fit our SUV, and that we were being greatly inconvenienced, Jay insisted that the hotel wasn’t responsible and that I just had to wait for the sub-contracted attendant to show up (I am surprised he was the only working valet at the time). It was quite stunning to hear the manager’s dismissive response, especially since guests are charged $65 per night for a service that was not being provided.

After expressing my dismay and frustration, my partner and I finally decided to park our car in a public parking garage a block away and asked the manager to remove the valet parking charge for our 2nd night, which it was. To date, no apology was offered by Triton's management for the inconvenience caused and for the rude treatment.

Saba from the manage office was very kind and helpful. The room was clean.
Very good hotel

The hotel is lovely, has an 1920s San Francisco vibe, the have free wine tasting every day 4pm till 6pm which was a nice perk! Fab location & friendly staff
