An older hotel, but the staff and the upgrades make it a go to when I have to travel to Bakersfield.
Pros:

Jonathan at the front desk was great. I arrived early and he found me a room with no problem. Very friendly, professional and a pleasure to talk with. The rooms are a bit dated - but clean. There have been some upgrades to the lounge and lobby which are nice.

Cons:

There is no air conditioning in the hallways, so be ready for a severe temperature change when you leave your room! :)
