staff is friendly
The hotel is not the clean. Elevator track dirty. lots of dust in closet in rooms. carpet old. This doubletree is far below what I am used to at other doubletree hotels. Very disappointing.
Location
The staff was rude ., not helpful when asked questions
This property is located in an industrial area, so there isn’t much nearby. It’s also right next to the freeway, so if you have a balcony, be prepared for a fair amount of noise.
One thing to note—if you’re considering Club Level, it’s not what you might expect compared to other Hilton properties. There aren’t the usual amenities, and no alternatives or vouchers were offered during our stay. Also, refrigerators and microwaves are not standard in the rooms—you’ll need to upgrade or request one, (for a price) and even then, availability can be limited.
The hotel itself is on the older side. The rooms were decent, but some areas of the property could use better maintenance. For example, one of our room locks didn’t work properly, and another door had to be lifted to open. There were many other items as well. The hallways also had an unpleasant odor at times.
Service was a bit hit or miss. While a few staff members were helpful, others came across as less welcoming. When we brought up some of the room issues, it seemed like they were already aware but not overly concerned.
We were there during a dance convention, so the hotel was very busy. The only dining option available was understaffed, and the on-site steakhouse wasn’t open during our stay. They do offer complimentary water and a warm cookie, which is a nice touch, although service around that felt inconsistent.
Parking is $32 per night, uncovered, and without visible security.
Overall, the stay was okay, but it didn’t quite meet the standard I typically expect from a Hilton property.
This hotel needs a complete renovation. Rooms are old, worn, just nasty. The hotel is full of restaurants and none of them are open, only the lobby bar/lounge. No room service. Restaurant staff was the only saving grace.
Dirty, old, and outdated. The room is gross, and the ceiling is missing pieces in the bathroom area. Sleeping under the covers felt damp and it is because the room is humid, even at 69 degrees temp. The room is in need of remodeling. Not comfortable at all. The front desk ladies were rude and unwelcoming when checking in on the evening of 3/19/26. The hotel shuttle driver was nice though.
Overall this hotel is in desperate need of a refurbishment of the hotel rooms. It is evident that money has gone into refurbishing lobby and conference spaces only.
The rooms are huge with balconies, beds are comfortable and kept clean, however the room itself is pretty much original to 1970 with the shower having low pressure in a old bath tub and the A/C is weak. Carpet is old and stained and the room initially smelt musty when checking in. After a couple of days with ventilation the smell went.
Door locks are warn out so don’t initially open or require moving handle upwards to open.
Onsite food options are poor, with the steakhouse being closed and the remaining restaurant being overpriced with average food. Avoid soda’s from the gun as my drink had a nasty aftertaste and was gritty, they rectified this by serving coke from cans instead.
Staff are polite and friendly though.
This hotel has such potential and its location is excellent, however in its current state it’s an embarrassment to the Doubletree brand.
Other options nearby are better for the same price or less.
Finally, the price for parking is disgusting with no discount for guests or diamond members.
A/c in room wasn’t working
Smell the rugs the a/c the list goes on…….it was not worth $284

Lack of upkeep. When are you going to take down the Spencers sign and poster?
Don't be fooled by the nice lobby. Rooms are disgusting. Dirty old carpet, and desperately needed update. Paid top dollar for an absolutely disgusting room. Talked with manager and he said owners are aware and refuse to update the rooms. Hilton ought to remove their name. Absolutely embarrassing.
The check-in staff was friendly.
The front desk phone was always busy, they always pick up the phone and ask me to wait because there are other customers who are in front of me.
Also they agreed to send new TV remote batteries to my room, but they never did.
And no one could give me a clear answer whether the just happen to not have run out of complementary shower caps or they simply don’t offer them.
