I chose this hotel expecting a luxury experience, especially given its reputation and price. At check-in I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a Junior Suite, but unfortunately the experience quickly went downhill.

About four hours after checking in, I realized the air conditioning was not cooling the room properly. Engineering confirmed there was an issue, and reception moved me to another room nearby. Unfortunately, the second room had exactly the same problem.

When I called reception again, instead of focusing on resolving the issue, I was repeatedly asked why I had moved rooms and why I hadn’t checked the replacement room before moving. I found this frustrating because it is the hotel’s responsibility to ensure a replacement room is functioning properly before asking a guest to relocate.

To verify the issue, a hotel staff member and I checked three additional rooms using a thermometer. Every room measured over 23°C, showing that this was not an isolated problem but appeared to affect multiple rooms and floors. By then it was already around 10 p.m. I eventually gave up, requested a fan, and returned to my original room.

I never asked for an upgrade—I simply wanted a room with a properly functioning air conditioner so I could get a good night’s sleep before my journey home.

The most disappointing part was not just the air conditioning issue, but how the situation was handled. I left feeling that my legitimate concern was being questioned rather than resolved. For a hotel of this standard and price, I expected much better service and a more professional response.

Pros:

1番スタンダードな部屋を予約していましたが、部屋のグレードアップをして頂けました。シャワー室とバスタブとトイレが別になっていて、日本人にはとても使いやすかったです。部屋に用意された飲み物とお菓子も全て混みでした。フランクフルトに滞在したのが、日曜日でお店がどこも閉まっていたので飲み物が準備されていたのは有り難かったです。

Großartiges Haus zum eleganten Wohlfühlen mit tollen Mitarbeitern in zentraler Toplage
Pros:

Tolles Haus mit großartiger Ausstattung und Komfort, sehr netten und hilfreichen Mitarbeitern in ausgezeichneter zentraler Lage. In meinem Zimmer war es auch bei geöffnetem Fenster nachts erstaunlich ruhig.

I would definitely not come here again, there were better options I should have gone for and for better prices.

Cons:

Over priced. I wasn’t informed about the security deposit in advance. I paid for it but didn’t get refunded in my account yet despite them saying it will take 3-5 working days. It’s 2 weeks now.

Güzel tesis. Lux olayı üst düzeyde. Konfor arayanlara şiddetle tavsiye edilir.

Tesis, konumu, temizliği, personeli, şehir manzarası ile efsane. Fiyatı da buna oranla biraz fazla gelebilir. Şehir merkezinde olması Zeil ve Goethe caddelerine yakınlığı ile metro görmeden sadece havaalanı ve tabiat müzesine bolt kullanarak 4 günlük tatili bitirdik. Sabah kahvaltıları çok güzel. Kiraz yemekten içimde kiraz ağacı çıkabilirdi. Somon sürekli tabak tabak servise çıkartıyorlar. Hiçbir masraftan kaçınmamışlar. Ekmekleri ve croissantları çok leziz. Peynir olayı zaten anlatmaya gerek yok. Çok keyifli kahvaltılar ettik. Fitness bölümü çok güzel ve donanımlı. Ben en çok su sebilini kullandım.

Cons:

Spadaki masaj çok ahım şahım değildi. Thailand görenler pek bir beklentiye girmesin. Saunaların nudist beach gibi olması hanımla saunaya girme hayalimizi resmen çökertti. Havlusuz çıplak girilen sauna ile bundan bundan hoşlanmayanlar için havlu ile girilen sauna olarak bir ayarlama yapsalar iki saunası olan mekan için doğru bir hareket olurdu. Bu kadar rahat olunmamalı düşüncesindeyim.

Kurz aber schön !

Frühstück und Bar waren perfekt.

Cons:

Wir waren in den Zimmern 227 und 226.
Da die WC´s sich aneinander standen, hat man zwischen den beiden WC Einheiten " Geräusche etc. " war genommen.
Das war nicht schön !

We enjoyed our time with helpful staff and enjoyed the bathtub in our room.
Pros:

The architect and furniture, wonderful staff at reception and concierge. Cleaning staff always were polite and helpful. The breakfast buffet was wonderful but the hot food was not hot.

Cons:

The hallway carpets were very dirty and are due to be either steam cleaned or replaced. We only went to the bar area once and the service was slow . We waited patiently only to see a staff member spill a drink all over the floor and the have a melt down and walk out just leaving a mess. The smoking room needs better ventilation and had no service attendant. The HVAC in our room leaked water onto the floor wetting our suitcase(no damage to the suitcase).
