My husband and I always stay at this Marriott when we come to Houston for his oncology appointments at MD Anderson. In this trip it was supposed to be a two night stay but unfortunately we ended up having to stay almost two weeks. They helped us extend our stay and we were able to have Amazon orders delivered with no issues. The best thing we always love here is in the concierge lounge. Every morning on every stay Maraceli always knows us and welcomes us with a big hug. She remembers that I don’t drink coffee but need an iced tea. She has it at our table before I even come back to the table with my breakfast. It’s so nice to have a friendly face especially when we are staying for a stressful reason.
The location is excellent with a very convenient and dependable shuttle service which e always rely on to get to my doctor appointments.
Great performance and personality
Clean rooms . Close to hospital
Room noise from AC. Slight smell in the evening like sewage , the dinning room opened to late in the morning . Shuttle service very slow
Maraceli does a fabulous job with the M club and all of the families there. She makes us feel special and cared for when we need it most. So many of us are there for medical treatment. She gets off to a good start each morning.

The stay was fine, we go every 21 days for medical treatments, however I was billed twice. my stay was paid thru booking.com then I was bill by the Marriott as well for the same stay. Now no one will answer me there. I get put on hold for 10 to 15 mins. or accounting never answers and I get a recording that their mailbox is full. NEED Help....
Marceli in the M Club made the trip excellent! She greeted everyone with a smile and was beyond friendly. She explained the offerings, hours, etc. and promptly made sure you had everything you needed and more! She did this for everyone, not just me! I spoke with her manager and shared my experience. She should be recognized and rewarded for her outstanding work. Until next time…
My wife and I were there for medical appointments in Houston. We had a wonderful stay. The staff is professional, friendly, and efficient. The rooms are very nice and well maintained. The location cannot be beat - and there is a shuttle service to the nearby medical centers (including return pickup) which is extremely convenient. Best of all, we signed up for the "M Club" option which involves a small additional charge but gives you access (via key-card) to a private eating/lounge area which is quiet and spacious. It is adjacent to the breakfast buffet which you can access and bring food back; there is also a separate food counter in the M Club with simpler fare. And there is a great automatic coffee machine with a large selection of espresso-based coffees which is available round the clock.
During our visit the M Club was being managed by Maraceli, who was amazing. She was friendly, hospitable and did a great job keeping the lounge spotless. Her upbeat personality made the lounge even more special. Highly recommend.
There were plenty of breakfast choices and the food was good and there was a wide variety
Noisy air-conditioning.
The convenience of being able to walk to the hospital. The people working the desk were nice. Other than that I would have booked elsewhere.
For almost 500 a night, I would have expected a much nicer room. I have stayed in LaQuinta for 120.00 a night and had a much nicer room. The TV didnt work, had to get an engineer to fix it. The door key didnt work, even after we changed the keys..had to get someone to take care of that. It must have been next to the helipad, as we heard helicopters landing. All in all, disappointed in the room we were assigned. I was there for surgery, and there were no more surgical discount rooms available. Disappointing.
Our stay here was fantastic!
It was quite an hassle to combine our separate bookings but Seth at concierge was amazing for sorting it all out for my team.
I hope to be able to stay here again in future!
next to hospital
