Cleanliness
8.8
Generally praised as very clean and well-maintained (multiple reviews mention exceptionally clean rooms and common areas), though some specific issues were raised (windows needing cleaning, a wobbly toilet seat and occasional musky smell on the staircase).
Service
8.9
Staff repeatedly described as friendly, helpful and passionate with examples of good check-in service and upgrades; one operational downside was the lack of overnight staff and limited front-desk presence at times.
Location
9
Consistently highlighted as excellent — in the heart of the Jewellery Quarter, short walk to the centre and surrounded by pubs/cafes; proximity to The Button Factory is noted as a benefit.
Room Quality
8.7
Rooms described as stylishly renovated, spacious, comfortable beds and great showers; minor negatives include incomplete blackout curtains, occasional maintenance issues (wobbly loo seat) and some missing hooks/storage in a few rooms.
Amenities
8.6
Good extras noted (toiletries, tea/coffee, fridge with water, fan provided in hot weather). Some practical shortcomings (no dining room, limited seating for room breakfast service) temper the score slightly.
Value for Money
8.7
Standard quality for this hotel tier: visitors describe a high-quality, stylish stay and many would return/recommend, supporting a target-level value rating.
Food and Beverage
8.4
Breakfast and coffee frequently praised (delicious continental, lovely coffee), but several guests reported shortages of items, milk issues and occasional late service or limited breakfast options.
Overall Experience
8.5
Many guests said they'd return and recommend the hotel; overall a very positive stay with strong location, service and room comfort, offset slightly by occasional noise events and small maintenance/service gaps.

Pros:

We booked 2 Delux double rooms both were spacious, well furnished & very comfortable beds. Great choice will definit
Pros:

Beautiful property, very comfortable bed had a great nights sleep , fabulous bathrooms

Cons:

Chimney breast wall had bad damp damage, the room was beautiful but the window curtains were far too small & let in the light, found an empty biscuit wrapper on floor next to bed. Hair dryer didn’t work luckily booked 2 rooms do used one from there.

Chic townhouse in the jewellery quarter!
Pros:

The hotel is super clean! Staff are lovely, we were checked in by a lovely Irish man who made us feel so welcome.

Cons:

It’s not the most central location but that’s not the fault of the hotel.

Fabulous stay we look forward to returning
Pros:

Lovely breakfast and service great coffee! Good location - stunning room and facilities really friendly helpful and passionate staff. Appreciated and a nice touch having a fan in the room in this hot weather

Cons:

The curtains didn’t fully cover the windows - for a busy street black out curtains would be amazing. Also the locks on the doors could have been more secure.
