The room is large, with a settee as well as the bed. The sink is outside the bathroom, which is convenient if one wants to brush teeth while another uses the shower or toilet. Parking is right by the room. There is a popular mexican restaurant a short walking distance away, and also a small strip mall where I had my hair cut.
The breakfast mostly has sweet rather than savory items, plus bagels and fruit.
The room was basically fine, pretty much what you would expect for this class of hotel. Bed was good and in general everything though dated, seemed acceptably clean. The biggest draw was it's location to the Naval Base, which was very close by.
A big complaint was the dreadful lighting. Only those bright florescent bulbs which give off that ugly, harsh white light. Not cozy or warm at all. If staying longer that 2 nights, i would have purchased decent light bulbs myself, It's a shame too because it's an easy fix. All they needed was a couple of nice lamps or incandescent-type bulbs. The breakfast was lacking even by these hotel standards. All in all it seemed expensive for what you got but I suppose you pay for the location, near the Naval Base. If you don't need to be near the Base you would be wise to look elsewhere. Lastly, and this was very disturbing, they gave my son a terrible time with checking out an hour or so late. He's a sailor and had to make 2 trips getting his things out of the room after reporting to morning duty. They first told him that he would have to pay for an extra night, because he wasn't completely out by 11:00 . When re refused they then locked his things in the room. We told them that we would call to the police if they didn't allow him to get his processions, they reluctantly unlocked the door and told him he had 15 minutes! And this was after spending thousands of dollars as he was there weeks . So much for "thank you for your service". Customer service zero at end of his extended stay and totally unnecessary. Terrible.

Hot water takes 30 minutes to get warm not even hot! People live there and are loud all night. The bed is hard as a rock and nothing is clean. Smells like mold. You better get up early if you want a shower. When I went to tell them about the water the said its an old and takes a while and checkouts at 11:00. 🙄 I do not recommend it at all and I won’t be back! Pathetic! Breakfast is a joke as well! We for some reason got out in a handicap room and it was nasty, we found roaches and took all our stuff out to the car to keep from getting infested. This place is a joke! The tv sucks and you better not expect the WiFi password.
Horrible staff.
The heater was broken and the room was freezing. The outside was also clustered with trash and people coming and going all night.
I like the location. Near eateries and close to bus stations
For 6 days I stayed there, my room was not cleaned. The staff are less caring as to whether the is need to change the bedsheets or not
