Malgré que l'hôtel soit un peu vétuste, les chambres sont propres, bien entretenues, les chambres sont spacieuses (idéales pour déballer les valises et les familles avec des enfants).
Les chambres sont équipées d'une kitchenette bien équipée.
L'hôtel est bien situé, à proximité de tout (Internationnal Market, restaurant et bar, la plage,...).
Les personnes à l'accueil sont gentilles.
Le point plus plus c'est la gratuité du parking, c'est magnifique !

Pool and how elevators weren't super busy. This place has been my grandparents place to stay when they came to Oahu. It brought all good memories of my childhood days.

I really liked the walkability to the Waikiki area. The International Market Place was 2 blocks away, there were many food options also within walking distance.

Very convenient location. Close to the beach and all of Waikiki. We were able to walk to everything but also had a rental car to drive the island. Lovely staff! Welcoming and helpful! Free parking but the lot is limited! We loved having a kitchenette in our room for breakfast!

It was extremely clean, in a great location, staff was extremely friendly and helpful

Great value. Apartment condition and size was perfect for the 4 of us. Only one bathroom but we were able to manage. Parking included was a huge benefit.

Excellent value for money, good location, sizeable rooms with kitchenette. Sweet and well maintained family owned property. Lovely staff.

I was so looking forward to my stay at this hotel. I really enjoy smaller, vintage hotels and the reviews were excellent.
At arrival, the outside definitely has a 1950s appearance and was attractive. Check in was smooth with polite staff. The lobby was small and had artwork portraying classic Hawaiian scenes.
Then we entered our room. Some walls were damaged and stained. Others were only partially painted. The curtains and chair cushions were severely stained. The bathroom sink was rusty. The room had a foul odor.
The only positive I can mention is that despite the unit not being maintained properly, it was clean. Floors, surfaces were all given attention.
We had a balcony but didn't use it because it looked over some dilapidated apartments.
Finally, it was quite loud. The windows and a/c unit were not sealed properly and the hotel next door was quite boisterous into the late evening.
This accomodation was quite disappointing.

The Ilima Hotel is fantastic - free parking, professional and friendly staff, very clean rooms. We stayed in a room with one king bed and one double bed for three adults.

Our room was on the 14th floor and I requested that ours face the mountains. It was a peaceful view onto the Ala Wai canal where there were rowing teams, people walking. There was street noise from cars and trucks occasionally. Restaurants, the International Market., Target, ABC stores, and a popular udon place, are less than a block away. Waikiki beach is about three blocks away.

I started referring to the hotel as "home". it was easy to find the hotel while walking around as it has the pink trim. This came in handy for me one time. The room is more than double the size of similar ones in other hotels. The three of us could spread out and not feel cramped. Ask for beach towels at the front desk.

There was a laundry basket in the closet although we didn't use the washer and dryer on the third floor. Also, two folding "tables" for carry ons, and a safe although.

It was thoughtful to see unique, small touches. For example, in the bathroom, the glasses were not only covered in plastic, they were inverted and tied in a knot. . I've never see this in 60 years at many hotels. I noticed.

We used the large-sized fridge and microwave. If you'd like to cook, there's an electric stove top, pots, pans, dish towels, new kitchen sponge and new mini dish soap.
