Great for short stays, loved the staff, service and was clean.
Pros:

Rooms were clean, loved the race course view, lobby.

Cons:

Breakfast could have been better, we felt that the waffle batter was not that flavourful, and the despite the maker time being finished, the batter was still raw.

The location was excellent. The staff were very friendly. Nothing was too much for them

My husband telephoned a few days before we traveled to ensure that we did not sleep in a room where there had been pets because I suffer from Asthma. He was told to mention this when we arrived. Unfortunately, the reception staff member said that we could not guarantee this. However, I was told that the rooms are deep cleaned. By this time it was too late for us to find another hotel

The Restaurant let's the hotel down.
The menu is very limited. If you stayed for longer than 5 nights you would run out of choices.

Restaurant staff served our order to the wrong table. After the food had been looked at, played with, sniffed and breathed on by other guests, it was brought over to our table. The staff were displeased that I requested new food to be prepared for us. They even sent the restaurant manager to our table to try to convince us to eat what had been served to other guests.

A pleasant and comfortable stay at one of the best properties in the area, although a few small details could be improve
Pros:

The property is beautiful, spacious and airy, with plenty of outdoor space and a large car park.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the property does not quite meet the standards expected of a four- or five-star hotel. There are many small details that make a big difference at this level. That said, it is still one of the best, if not the best, accommodation options in the area.
