Pros:

Everything was clean. The bedroom and bathroom was spotless. Seating area for drinks was cosy. Dinner area was good and a nice view of the race course.

Cons:

The staff were extremely slow. Chatting to people that weren't being served while other customers qued. Waiting times for the bar was very slow at evening times. Even with a large number of staff members, they didn't seem to know what they were doing when it came to using the tills. The food service was very slow and on one occasion I had to sorce my own cutlery.

Pros:

The location was perfect, I was there for the horse racing and access to the racecourse was an added bonus. I've now been to 35 racecourses around Britain and I would absolutely recommend this hotel and this beautiful racecourse. The hotel was clean spotless and the staff were all very friendly.

Det virket som rommet var klart før kl. 16.00, men resepsjonistene var svært uhøflige og hadde ingen interesse av å snakke med oss før kl. 16.00. I stedet for å være imøtekommende og gi oss informasjon, fikk vi inntrykk av at de bare ville ignorere oss til innsjekkingstiden. Dette ga et veldig dårlig førsteinntrykk.
