Nice and convenient location. This was my second stay at the hotel. My previous visit was pleasant with no major issues.
During this stay, we returned to our room to find the floor covered in water leaking from the ceiling. A technician came but could not resolve the problem. When my daughter called the front desk again around midnight (we still needed to shower and sleep), the staff member who answered was extremely rude — raising their voice, speaking aggressively, and telling us no rooms were available for a change.
I went down to the front desk myself. After some time they did move us to another room (despite earlier claims that the hotel was full). No one apologised for the inconvenience or the poor phone manner. When I asked who had spoken to my daughter, the staff simply went into the back office and returned without answering.
There was also a cockroach in the room.
As someone who has worked in the hospitality industry, I found the staff attitude and lack of basic courtesy completely unacceptable, especially when the problem was clearly the hotel’s responsibility.
Location was great and the shopping centre had some nice restaurants and good that we had free breakfast through booking.com
The staff were rude which is common in Singapore. The rooms were very small and was next to the elevator which made noise all night. The toilet had a water drainage smelling piss.
Breakfast is very good, there are a lot of excellent food options. The hotel has a nice old fashioned atmosphere. The pool has a decent size allowing a good swim after a long flight.
The breakfast room can get very busy and thus a bit overwhelming.

Totally waisted staying this hotel ,don't even have a bidet system in the toilet ,very smelly , not professional, nothing to say good in the hotel

Staff attitude, only 1 or 2 staff available for check in. Long queue while checking in and checking out. My card has been charged twice, but i am getting no reply even after writing 4 emails to them. It seems they just don't care to read emails and reply!!
Finally they replied to my e mails after communicating through booking.com, but the money was not released for another 2 weeks. This is explained as technical error in the finance system! Not worth going through these hassles. Plenty of other better option is available in Singapore.
