⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 Stars
What a fantastic stay! From the moment we arrived until checkout, the hospitality at the W Los Angeles West Beverly Hills was outstanding.
We stayed in a beautiful 12th floor corner two bedroom suite, and it exceeded every expectation. The suite was incredibly quiet with beautiful views, lots of natural light, and plantation shutters that let in plenty of sunshine while still giving us privacy. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which is a huge plus during the summer, and kept the suite cool and comfortable throughout our stay.
Every member of the staff was exceptional. From the valet to the concierge, the front desk, Roger with the bell staff, housekeeping, the pool attendants, and the restaurant team, everyone was friendly, welcoming, professional, and always smiling. Everyone in housekeeping greeted us with a smile and a friendly hello whenever we passed them in the hallways. You could tell they genuinely cared about making every guest feel welcome.
The pool was beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing. The staff was always there with fresh towels and attentive service, and the music was always on point. It created the perfect atmosphere to unwind and really added to the overall experience.
The food was another highlight. We enjoyed both the Living Room and the Beach House by the pool, and every meal was excellent. The menu offered plenty of fresh, healthy choices, and everything we ordered was delicious. The service in both restaurants was outstanding. A special thank you to Harmony at the Beach House outdoor bar. She was warm, friendly, attentive, and made every visit enjoyable.
Especially, a heartfelt thank you to Daniel in Sales and Marketing. He is one of the warmest and most welcoming people we have met at any hotel. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable and truly made us feel at home.
The location is fantastic. The hotel is tucked into one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Los Angeles, giving you a peaceful, upscale setting while still being just minutes from everything. It feels like a relaxing retreat, yet Westwood Village is an easy walk, and Beverly Hills, the Sunset Strip, Santa Monica, and many other iconic destinations are just a short ride away.
Thank you to everyone at the W Los Angeles West Beverly Hills for making this such a memorable trip. We cannot wait to come back and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Los Angeles.
Courteous staff
I stay at this particular W about 6 months out of the year for work. Edwardo and David I. Always take care of me at Valet. They are always moving with purpose, professional and I can tell they love their jobs. I’m always pleased when I pull up to the hotel and see them working bc I know it will be a positive experience for me. Thank you, gents!
W Los Angeles - W Beverly Hills is THE PERFECT SPOT stay on trip to LA with the family. Our family of 5 had a great time during 3 days there. Easy to get to things we wanted to do, great area to walk around too…few blocks to UCLA campus, grocery stores, and dining. Food at hotel was really good…breakfast doesn’t get any better than here and poolside eats were good…had tacos and chips/guac. Cannot recommend this location enough. Loved our stay!
Hilariously named hotel. Not at all in Beverly Hills. Good Westwood village location close to UCLA and good coffee and food. Very nice upgrade to 2 BR suites little tired but comfortable. Appreciated upgrade and honoring request not to face Hilgard but the lower roof between two wings of hotel. Big construction. Next door and 6 am wake up from trucks beeping going backwards for 1 hour. Decent Expedia price but high resort fee and taxes made room about $100 more a night.
We checked in to the W late at night, but received great service. Thanks also to Brewer at the front desk who was especially good to us. We appreciated the rooms, the beds, the beautiful bathrooms, the valet service. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
I am giving our favorite Westwood hotel, the W on Hilgard, five stars for the location, and for the people. We have frequented this property for nearly a decade. Its proximity to UCLA is unmatched, and we have come to know some of the valet, front desk, and wait staff by name. Special shoutouts to Edgar and Lin up front, and Jill on the pool deck. Edgar and Lin always take good care of us, and Jill is a lovely person who works hard to keep everyone out by the pool happy. The only negative during this stay was a failure to manage the crowd at breakfast, and this was no fault of the employees. Joseph P. was hustling! They must be short-staffed, as the servers were slammed, doing their own bussing, table setting, greeting, and serving. Too much. But the coffee and food was excellent. Prices at the hotel are high across the board, but that’s LA for you… and again - can’t beat the location btwn Beverly Hills and Santa Monica. Supply and demand!
Conveniently located, street parking, pool and bar, friendly staff
Everyone was welcoming, accomodating and helpful
There is perhaps room for improvement in the F&B department, however the service received from staff was good.
Room was clean and spacious.
Nice Gym. Upon request they will send up a coffee maker to your room.. Laundry service was good Thank you
Restaurant menu is very limited, breakfast is just ok.
Feel corridors need more light and soundproofing needs to improve.
I’ve stayed at the W in Westwood several times over the past two years, and it never disappointed. The location is hard to beat — close to UCLA and the medical center, with plenty around to walk to. What really stands out is the staff, who always go out of their way to make each stay memorable. I celebrated my birthday and my graduation here, and even spent a week of the kids’ summer break at the hotel — and we loved every minute of it. I’ll be back whenever I’m in LA. Absolutely love their Mega and Fabulous Suites!!!
The hotel was Centrally located on the border of Beverly Hills. Featured a spacious room and had a great front desk. By far our best experience with our server, Junior, at the Beach House bar. His service was impeccable and he went above and beyond the call of duty for our family
Old and tired. Far too expensive for what you got. Like a Travelodge star 3. The prici g once you get there is insNe. UDS70 per night to park my car. USD20 for 1 teabag.
Clarkia cocktail is the next big drink. Love it. Big shout out to Daniel from W Hotel Los Angeles for creating in the spirit of nearby UCLA botanical garden where they grow iconic Clarkia flowers. W is a hidden gem oasis in West LA steps from main UCLA campus. Escape to the beach house in Westwood for tasty cocktails, friendly service and a pool/garden setting.
Very nice hotel. The staff made the visit Amazing people ! Rooms were lovely ! Not luxury tho . Close to UCLA . It would have been 5 but getting to the pool area for slightly disabled is not easy !!!
They should improve that The bathrooms at the pool were sort of like ones at a gas station. They need improvement . Otherwise a nice stay !
They were lovely at check-in and offered a $50 per day breakfast credit for our Marriott Platinum status. We discussed it as a family, agreed that we would use that and accepted. They said the credit would show up at the end on our bill. Well....it didn't. I called and a lovely girl said no, sorry I can't help with that because you already received 1,000 (worthless) Bonvoy points. I asked to speak with supervisor. Not available of course. I expressed my displeasure. She said the supervisor would email me and told my to "have a nice day Mr. ...", just DRIPPING with insincerity. Of course, I haven't heard anything from a manager.
