Lovely clean rooms
Mini fridge, tea and coffee facilities and biscuits in room
Staff at reception very welcoming
The Room service was spot on food arrived promptly (20 mins) and was lovely and reasonably priced
Parking was free if you register at reception on arrival
WiFi worked well also
decent Air con in the rooms
The shower head was broken but not really that much of an issue as we only stayed for one night
It’s very neat
Lovely clean and comfortable hotel and good food. A bit further out of glasgow than anticipated.
Where is the entrance??! It seems to be via a shopping centre but we arrived after the centre had closed and ended up walking along a dual carriageway then scrambling down a bank to get into an unmarked entrance, then doing the same the next night when we arrived back from a concert at hampden park via taxi and the driver couldn't find an entrance either! Definitely clearer signage needed.
Liked the location to the shopping center and the village . Staff were really nice and friendly
Nice staff
Location
The food was ok but not a fan of buffet cooked breakfast. Staff were polite.
The staff did not seem happy and sensed a lack of enthusiasm.. Tables did not seem to be cleared during the breakfast, probably a lack of staff. The Orange Juice was in our opinion not fresh orange. Just seemed like diluted orange juice. Crumbled egg seemed to be the only option and the tray I took from had very little left yet the staff member watched and did not seem to think to offer getting a tray of fresh scrambled egg. There was a photo in one of the lifts showing a family enjoying breakfast with what looked like lovely poached eggs etc. This was certainly not on offer for us.
The bed was comfortable.
The breakfast was terrible. The dining area was so filthy. Every cup was dirty, as was the cutlery, every table loaded with dirty plates. No food replenishment and what there was cheap, poor quality and absolutely nothing wiped down. My partner and I couldn’t eat so we complained to a very uninterested receptionist.
All corridors unhoovered.
Just a throughly miserable experience.
Wifi is fine and the room was comfortable.
The difficulty accessing the hotel outweighs anything positive about it. There is no secure parking for a car larger than a small sedan. If you have a larger car you are wxpected to park in a shopping centre carpark a decent distance from the hotel. Getting to the hotel from.here is not sign posted at all. There is no drop off/pick up area. Access to reception (12th floor) and accommodation floors (8th-10th floors) is via public lifts.
Location
Cost and hard to get to
I disliked all of it - I arrived late and simply did not feel safe. It’s not safe in the dark in my opinion
Almost impossible to find misleading and confusing or lack of information to find a car park. It’s a shared Hotel with an office building the downstairs reception is empty/closed and there’s insufficient information to explain to go up to level 12 and then you are sent back down to level nine. It’s a really noisy Hotel too. I didn’t like the bed it was uncomfortable there’s nothing to like, go to a Travel Lodge on a Premier Inn much better. I wouldn’t stay here again.
The room I had was very clean, comfy bed, coffee machine, biscuits, hot chocolate. Lovely shower. It was apparently one of the better rooms so if it’s best to check the amenities in the room first. The coffee machine, biscuits, are not always available in each room. The location is good, difficult to find at first but good for parking and 30 mins drive from the airport. Drinks from the bar were a reasonably priced. Glasgow central is 30 mins by train (lovely clean train). Takes about 20 mins to walk there from the hotel.
