Die Wirtin war zwar sehr zuvorkommend, allerdings äußerst unflexibel. Zu unserer gewünschten Frühstückszeit kamen wir wenige Minuten später und wurden mit dem Satz: "Sie sind aber nicht pünktlich!" begrüßt. Der zum ersten Frühstück von uns geäußerte Wunsch "Spiegelei, Rührei usw." wurde an den darauffolgenden Tagen ungefragt serviert, ohne dass wir eine andere Bestellung hätten aufgeben können. Es stand sogar schon auf dem Tisch! Besonders ärgerlich war, dass bei der Endabrechnung (Frühstück) eine Kartenzahlung nicht möglich war.

Great value for money, a comfortable place to stay in a sleepy town
Pros:

The beds were really soft and comfortable, the pillows were perfect as well. Rooms were really clean and nothing was broken. Couldn't discover any dust at all. Breakfast was really big and complete, the lady (I assume one of the co-owners) personally made scrambled egg for me and was friendly in communication (especially considering me stumbling over my words in German).

Cons:

Linnich as a town is not one I can recommend, especially on a sunday. But that is not really anything the hotel can do anything about of course. There were a few loud people yelling late at night, but that stopped before midnight. Same goes for indoors, I could hear other people's TV's (though that also stopped around midnight). Rooms have a bit dated interior design. There's also not really much there in terms of amenities; it's a bed, a TV, a nightstand, a chair, and a wardrobe (as well as a bathroom).

De vindbaarheid. Toegangsdeur was de zelfde als van de tandarts in het gebouw.
Geen ontbijt is voor mij vreemd in een hotel!

Het hotel zit op de 2e en 3e etage van een oud gebouw, met een heel kleine lift. Hoewel aangegeven werd dat ze fietsenstalling hadden, was dat niet zo. Ik moest mijn fiets in de kelder zetten, met de trap. Op mijn leeftijd een hele klus. De kamer is slecht onderhouden, barst in de glazen pui dat met tape vastgeplakt is. Koelkastje staat vlak naast je hoofdkussen dus continu het geklikt en gezoem van dat ding. Het grote raam en deur is slechts voorzien van een half gordijn waardoor je totaal geen privacy hebt. De overburen kijken zo naar binnen. Het slechtste Garni hotel dat ik ooit heb gehad.

Sauberkeit des Zimmers u. Bad waren gut.

Cons:

Wir haben kein Personal gesehen, Rezeption war nicht besetzt, ich habe keine Rechnung erhalten, der Frühstücksraum war geschlossen.

Cons:

Am Anreise-Tag wurden uns (4 Personen) die Zimmer stornierert. Angeblich wegen "Überbelegung". Nach tel. Rückfrage, ob sie vielleicht ein Ersatzhotel organisieren könnten, wurde einfach aufgelegt. Frechheit!!
