Guestrooms will be undergoing renovations until Early 2027. We are taking out two floors at a time so there is a bit of buffer to the noise but there still may be little noise. Renovations will occur Monday-Friday 9am-6pm and Saturday-Sunday 10am-6pmGuests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Pros:

Nous souhaitions être proches du centre, et l’hôtel est idéalement situé, à seulement quelques pas de Bourbon Street, tout en restant suffisamment au calme.

La piscine sur le toit est exceptionnelle, dans une ambiance chaleureuse et conviviale, avec bar et musique. Le personnel est également très attentionné et contribue vraiment à rendre le séjour agréable.

Une très belle expérience que nous recommandons sans hésiter !

Une soirée jazz avec groupe live exceptionnel !!

Cons:

Les chambres dénotent malheureusement complètement par rapport aux parties communes de l’hôtel, qui sont beaucoup plus agréables.

Elles sont très vieillissantes et la propreté laisse parfois à désirer.

Autre point négatif : le parking, facturé 50 $ par jour, ce qui nous semble assez excessif pour les clients de l’hôtel.

We stayed there many times. It’s was our favorite hotel in New Orleans based on location and location the building.

Cons:

The new renovations absolutely missed the mark. The rib room should have been put out to pasture. They really missed the mark by not coming up with a new restaurant concept. Still dark, dank and empty. And the new upstairs lobby bar and decor are completely bland and uninspired. No character. Nothing screams New Orleans. Looks like a corporate designer from Dallas did it.

Pros:

The location was close to a lot of things that we did.

Cons:

They closed the pool bar early two days in a row, we couldn't open our curtains because of construction right across the street from our window and we had to call house keeping to spray in our bathroom because we had cockroaches in the bathroom.

Pros:

We recently stayed at the Omni Royal for three nights and had an excellent experience. The hotel has been beautifully renovated, and the updates give it a fresh, elegant feel while preserving its character. The property was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The roof top pool was also renovated and was a great place to relax and cool off after a day of NOLA summer heat. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality hotel in the area.

Cons:

There were a few hours where the hotal was down to only one elevator, but this was quickly resolved.

Overpriced, old-fashioned but in a good location
Pros:

The front lobby and exterior of this hotel look expensive but once you get to the floor of your room, you will notice how old everything is. It's time for a major renovation! Dark stained carpet and bathrooms that do not function well in terms of how the space is utilized.

Cons:

The pool hours sucked and it was way too small. When large groups of people gather it makes it impossible for anyone else to use. Perhaps a sign-up sheet would be helpful.

Terrible air-conditioning
Pros:

Great location - walking distance to everything. The hotel looks gorgeous with a nice small pool area to escape the heat. The staff were incredibly friendly - could not fault the staff.

Cons:

The air-conditioning was awful. It literally felt like stepping into a sauna when we entered the room. We requested to move rooms and it was even worse in the next room so we gave up. We requested a portable fan to cool the room but it took 24 hours for the fan to arrive at our room, and then it did not cool the room at all. If you are a hot sleeper, this hotel is not for you.
