Corona Hotel Rotherham Sheffield Meadowhall

Upon arrival the original bedroom given for us was not cleaned in time for us. A lot of room changing and ended up with a twin room. Other than that we still made the most out of our stay and enjoyed it whilst we can. Just wished there was a fan due to the heatwave but other than that everything else was fine. Lovely sized bathrooms. And great communication with owner and understanding check in instructions. I’d probably stay again to be fair.

That the owners are ignorant and wouldn’t give us a refund we didn’t stay in the hotel at all

I left 5 minutes after arriving as all the rooms I was directed to were unclean and messy

Filthy noisy disgusting stains everywhere upon entering disgusting building and garden

Bed not made, looked like someone was staying in. Smelled of smoke 🚬 and there were empty boxes of pizza laying around the room. No one to speak to and they don't pick up their phones. Place is extremely dirty, we had booked for nights but we left as soon as we arrived

Once I entered the bedroom is was evident. No bedding was on the bed , unmade beds , and I don’t even know what was in the procreation sheet it’s was full
Of old and new stains , sweat marks it made us feel sick ! I tied to put the tv on as background music and no battery in the remote ? I contacted Adam called him several times I WhatsApp him and he replied, saying housekeeping had ran out of bedding ? 😩so Adam called me direct to advise me on going all the way down stairs to room 5 ( I and 64 years old ) open the safe on the ground floor opened the room 5 door to collect some bedding , I mean the bedding was something I would use for a rag on my floors , I chose what I could but my god the pillows 🤮 and I get a battery for tv remote or Adam
Advised me to go across the road and get a battery and I won’t be charged ???? I struggled with what I salvaged from room 5 up a flight of stairs to room 10 ! And some what made a bed we had to sleep in a single together as the needing and beds was disgusting 🤢 and we slept in out clothes ! Wouldn’t recommend at all ! I had to have a few wines for my wife to convince us to go back ! It’s horrible and not clean whatsoever will never ever return shouldn’t even be a hotel !

Pillows too.
Bath panel was broken.

Everything, I hated it all! The entrance, the attitude of the worker who wasnt present, the smell of the place, the staining on the bedding and mattress, the grimy toilet, the ridiculous bath tub couldnt fit a child in let alone an adult!!!, if I could rate this a 0 I absolutely would! AVOID AVOID AVOID
