Pros:

Came as a family of 5, 3 adults and 2 children. Booked 2 family rooms so we had extra space.
The hotel itself is in an amazing location and looks amazing like a 5 star hotel should. The staff are also very polite and helpful, all greet you with a smile.
The rooms were lovely and spacious but no air con working in both rooms. We thought might take a while kicking in. Got in late so stayed the night but was soo hot as above 30 degrees and couldn't sleep. Complained in morning and said they would move us. They had no rooms close to each other so moved us to apartments across the road. We could still use all facilities in main hotel and as an apology included breakfast for our stay which was really appreciated.
The apartment was amazing. 4 bedrooms, huge living room and huge balcony with an amazing view of main road and Sagrada Familia.
2 out of the 4 bedrooms air con did not work! Its not what i expect from a 5 star hotel. I've stayed in Premier Inn hotels in the uk with better air con.
Complained again, engineer came out and said not much he can do without going into ceiling and could take a few days. We made the best of the 2 bedrooms with working ac.
They sent a fruit tray and chocolates as an apology.
Would I come back....no. Apartment was amazing but all rooms needed working air con in this heat wave. There was pros and cons but for me I think I would book elsewhere if I came Barcelona again.

Hard to Beat
Pros:

This luxury hotel overlooks a high-end thoroughfare in Eixample. Perfectly located and nicely appointed, I can't recommend it enough. Its rooftop restaurant with views of La Sagrada Familia was a memorable highlight.

Amazing stay
Pros:

Dani, the restaurant breakfast manager, took excellent care of us. The restaurant offers an outstanding variety of breakfast options, and we truly enjoyed our stay.

The service was excellent, and the entire staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Thank you for making our experience so enjoyable!

One of the best in Barcelona
Pros:

This hotel is ideally located in Barcelona, in a neighborhood chock full of high-end retail stores, and a few steps away from several Gaudi-designed houses that tourists are going to want to check out. Speaking of Gaudi, The Majestic has a trendy rooftop bar with a great view of Sagrada Familia, which is within walking distance if you are ready for some exercise.
The hotel itself has a posh feel, from it's lobby bar, restaurant, hallways, and of course the rooms. We had a junior suite room, and we were very happy with it: good size, a modern, marble-floored bathroom, comfortable bed, nicely appointed, and tastefully decorated. The staff, particularly the doormen, maids, and the concierge were friendly and helpful. My only complaint was that when we sat in the lobby lounge waiting for our Uber, we were discouraged from bringing in any food or drink that the lobby bar did not provide.

Beautiful property, well maintained and very nice decorated. The bed is comfy, the bathroom with all amenities. The bar upstairs is so beautiful. Good breakfast also. We loved being there and would very much enjoy coming back!
One detail: the smell in the lobby is amazing.

Excellent Luxury Stay in the Heart of Barcelona
Pros:

My wife and I stayed at Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona this week. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. For us, it was the perfect choice for a luxury stay in the heart of the city.

We did experience a delay with our room being ready when we arrived after the official check-in time. However, the Front Office team handled the situation extremely professionally and swiftly, immediately taking ownership and ensuring that we were well looked after while the room was being prepared. Their response and service recovery were excellent and resolved the matter entirely to my satisfaction.

What really stood out throughout our stay was the quality of the hotel team. From the doormen and porters to Reception, Guest Relations and the F&B teams at La Dolce Vitae rooftop and the breakfast restaurant, the service was consistently warm, attentive and professional. There is a genuine sense of hospitality across the hotel, and the team clearly knows how to connect with their guests.

The location is also excellent, right on Passeig de Gràcia in the L’Eixample area, making it an ideal base from which to enjoy Barcelona.

We had a very positive experience and would definitely recommend Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona to anyone looking for a quality luxury hotel in an excellent central location. We would happily and will stay again.
