Hampton Inn Indianapolis Northeast/Castleton

The hallways are very dated. When we checked in there was great trepidation. Then we got to our room. It was just fine. Clean, up to date, everything worked. The bed was comfortable.... The staff were friendly and kind. Parking was sufficient. The pool was ice cold, there was a greasy looking sheen on the top and half of the lights did not work. When I notified the staff of this, I was told the pool maintenance people were due any day. It is right off the interstate, close to shopping, and a major hospital. There is food within walking distance.
I would return here even with a few issues. It seems that they are on top of them. The location is good. The staff were kind. There is more positive than negative.

I stayed for the Indy500, and the staff was very nice, I was welcomed by Samuel and he took care of my needs during the weekend. Something was interesting about him and is that he’s all the time over the place, great agent managing situations with aplomb. Breakfast was good, just hampton standards. The pool glass needs to be changed I think they are still remodeling but overall a great stay!

Very convenient location and accessible from the freeway. Hotel has made several improvements over the past several months and is looking better.

Hotel common areas were nicely maintained, suite was clean, sheets and linen clean, the suite bathroom was very nice, and most importantly NO BUGS!! It was exactly what we needed for our weekend trip.

Good experience all around from checkin to checkout. Linda and Samuel were GREAT; very professional and personable.

This was the 4th Hampton Inn we've stayed in in this month and it was the most expensive and had the lowest quality of the group. I am a Hilton Honors member. The hotel was understaffed. Only one evening employee who was doing everything from checking guests in to mopping the floor, etc. There was only one breakfast worker and it was the only Hampton that didn't have dark roast coffee. The light roast tasted like colored water. Our room smelled like a dog, so we asked for an air freshener, which the night clerk provided. There was peeling paint and mold in one corner of the ceiling (see the picture). I won't plan on staying at this location again.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and very well maintained The atmosphere felt welcoming, the staff was professional and attentive, samuel with his positive attitude and professionalism truly stood out and made a great impression, always offering himself to help with our needs. they are lucky to have someone like Samuel representing their team during overnight shifts.

Clean room, good shower, and the people were friendly! There were things that needed refilled at breakfast (syrup, nuts, chocolate chips for the waffles) but I could have just been there at a busy time. Overall a good stay.

Easy check in and very accommodating. Breakfast was delicious and lots of options. Linda did a wonderful job!

Christian at the front desk was exceptional! Such a huge help to make my son’s check-in smooth and his stay special!! He has made this Hampton amazing!

I’m a clc member and I travel a lot but genuine people is hard to find, Samuel helped me out every time I needed and all the staff people too. They have a great team! Thank u all.
