Dirty room, not good area, elevators took forever to work.
The booking process through Booking.com. That was it.
The AC didn't work in the middle of August. Called the front desk and was told to "give it time to work" because "I ain't got no more rooms". The cleanliness was atrocious. There was liquid all over the wall between the bed and bathroom. There were dead bugs on the floor in the foyer. The bedding and surfaces were damp from the humidity build up in the room. We ended up not staying but was charged anyway. Terrible experience overall let alone after traveling for 10 hours that day. The LaQuinta flag should absolutely be revoked because this was so below even sub standard expectations. The owner should be ashamed of the customer service and facilities offered.

The bathroom toilet was too low for elderly & needed more towel bars to hang wet towels. On the 3rd night we had to check out because of power failure that was beyond our control and I know beyond your control also but we were on the fourth floor and we had to walk up the stairs to retrieve our things and in the dark and no air plus we had to relocate because we were still on vacation. over all the place was clean but the electrical system is a big problem when the hotel nextdoor had power
Decent accommodation for price, friendly staff and courtesy drivers were excellent. Breakfast was sufficient but not noteworthy.
Power went out in thunderstorm and everything went dark. NO backup generator so no lights in stairwell, lobby or rooms. NO communication from staff and lights stayed off all night into morning, at 8am when I left still no power.
The receptionist did everything she could to assist people with no help from Management as they didn't ensure there were extra staff or portable lighting. She didn't even have a tablet to log in with and do check outs.
Management get a VERY poor rating.

The staff was very professional and cordial.
There were damaged walls, roaches, mold in the AC unit, the overall cleanliness of the room and hotel in general were beyond subpar. The water shut off for hours without warning. The pool was disgustingly green and dirty. There were drug needles in the parking lot. It was overall unacceptable.
Very hard mattress. Painful to sleep on my side. Water outage until about 7pm on the day of check-in. Unpleasant deodorizer/air scent used in the hallway and room.
