I checked in on 5/22/26 into the Family Suite(215) this room was disgusting! The paint was peeling from the walls. The ottoman was ripped to shreds. The sofa was a filthy as can be. It was as black as Asphalt! The carpet was extremely dirty and it had an odor. The mattress of the roll away bed looked like they dragged it in from the alley. The room was next to the elevator and each time the elevator moved. We heard it. The desk clerk couldn’t move us to a different room until after 3 pm the next day. Since there were no Family Suites available. They split us into two rooms. On Sunday the other Desk clerk informed me that I would have to pay for one of the two rooms that other clerk booked us into on Saturday. Ultimately, after some consideration of the inconvenience that they’ve put us through. The clerk agreed to allow us to stay in both rooms without additional charges since there were no additional Family Suites available. One of the rooms they rebooked us into had a strong odor of onions. Even though, housekeeping cleaned the carpet just before we checked into the room. The rugs with LaQuinta logo at the entrance were filthy. The pool was closed for the season and my 4 kids were very disappointed that they couldn’t go swimming. I have stayed in this hotel 7 of the past 10 years for Memorial Day Weekend. I’ll never step foot in this place again. Finally, to add insult to injury. Early in the morning on Memorial Day. We were awakened to loud noise from next door and shouting in the hallway. Once my son and I left our room. We realized that, all of that commotion was coming from the children of the house keeping staff. These children were running the hallway. Running in and out of the empty rooms that their parents were supposed to be cleaning. The Breakfast line was long all weekend because one of their two waffle makers had broken.
Room very comfortable. Breakfast space very nice but offering could’ve been a bit better.
More breakfast offerings, staff not overly friendly. I almost felt like a bother to them
I didn't have breakfast as i had to leave too early in the morning.
there was a coffee maker in my room and a fridge and a tv. the bed was very comfortable.
the room was clean and the quality of the bedding was good.
I thought it was quite expensive compared with the other hotel i stayed at in Memphis.
I couldn't take advantage of the free breakfast as i left too early. I think it would have been good for them to have coffee available in the morning at least and maybe a muffin to go?
Didn't answer my messages
That my dog was welcome, over all the staff was pleasant but the front desk people need work on their customer service. Tone of voice, being on your cell in front of a customer and sitting down why waiting on them the whole time seems just wrong. I would say if there is a medical issue and sitting is needed then try to stand for at least a few minutes while helping them and maybe let the customer know why you need to sit back down.
The lighting in the room is not the best, possibly needs an additional light. There is no room mirror only the bathroom mirror. The fitness center was out of order which was very disappointing for me. Especially since it was located right across the hall from my room but could not use it. The breakfast definitely needs improvement. It was less than basic and the breakfast cutoff even on the weekend was 9am and not 10 or 10:30am like most places. The eggs are powdered eggs that were floating in water all the time and had to be doctored up if you really wanted them. For me it was the only thing I could really eat due to my eating lifestyle. The was sausage every day I was hoping for bacon at least once. No fruit that I saw, and I was there for four days, no way I overlooked that. The juice and access to a toaster to toast my own cinnamon raisin bread was my highlight. I was definitely shocked that they had hot sauce packets which helped with the egg situation. The price was manageable but not impressive. I have stayed at LaQuinta's before, and this one was by far on the bottom.
Terrible customer service, it took us nearly 30 minutes to check in. Only one person running the concierge desk, there was a check-in line running out the door. A customer complaining of a stolen item from their room was causing a scene when we arrived to the hotel lobby, which really set the tone for our stay. My car got blocked in in the porte-cochere at the entrance and there was no hotel employee in sight to assist me. The hotel room had a very stale smell, and the bathroom finishings were falling apart. There were also pink stains on my bedsheets. No fresh fruits or vegetables at the breakfast bar. The booking.com reviews didn’t reflect our experience here, and I wouldn’t have booked this stay if I had read an accurate review like this. I’m sure there are cleaner, better managed properties to stay at that are cheaper than what we paid.
frühstück war gut. Zimmer groß. eine Matratze war auf einer Seite durchgelegen, also persönlich gewendet, dann ok.
leider kein Netflix möglich.
There was a good restaurant next door
Smells very strong of weed
