Decent place but probably wouldn’t return. Needs updated. Pool and hot tub were great.

For the price the room was decent. The property was old but clean and spacious and had a comfortable bed. For breakfast

Nice location. The maid staff were very sweet.

Cons:

Absolutely impossible to get ahold of front desk by phone. Even when at the hotel. Have to just walk down there to get ahold of anyone. The AC in the room didn’t work and the bed was as hard as a rock. The hotel is so noisy at night. You can hear everything and everyone around you. Also, was not made aware of $50 hold on card (additional to fees) before showing up. There prices are way too high for the quality.

Very comfortable bed and room was at the level of cleanliness I like. Enjoyed the pool (80•) and hot tub was nice after a long day out. Ricky was very helpful at front desk. And really liked extra counter space next to toilet. Plus real coffee mugs in room. Place was quiet except for couple blasting music at hot tub. Plenty of parking…. Three-4 min drive to restaurants and shopping 🛍️

Cons:

Breakfast was decent but coffee machine was disappointing; and no creamer next to coffee at breakfast. Had to go down to lobby coffee to get it for breakfast. Little things like no black tea, just odd ones and no pastries. Asked girl at front (looked barely out of high school) 🤨 if she could make a reservation at a restaurant for me. She looked stunned and said “we don’t do that here”. Really? Realized it’s not that kind of hotel, unfortunately….

Charming, comfortable well located and excellent customer service ! Fantastic value
Pros:

It was very clean, the beds were very comfortable, the linens were comfortable, and they had fireplaces in the rooms I stayed in. I stayed three nights and decided to stay another night but needed to move from a queen to a king size bed. Pool, sauna, plants, it was slightly dated but fantastic value. Ricky, the young man who worked most of the time I was at the hotel was exceptional! Professional, proactive, and friendly. I was so impressed with him that I asked if he was the manager. He said that he hoped to be and I left a note for his boss telling him or her that he was management material. He owned his job and gave great customer service. It was refreshing to see how he handled his job.

Cons:

Very close to the beach, restaurants, and it was very peaceful.

Okay for the price you pay as Monterey is generally overpriced
Pros:

Location is great, close to Lover s point, plenty of space, has a fridge and microwave inside the room, plenty of parking outside

Cons:

Rooms are outdated, not super comfy beds, breakfast is very limited (no hot items except coffee and tea), also the sink was clogged, and the water wouldn't drain.
