Easy to check in and out, great breakfast, friendly staff.
Pros:

Breakfast was fantastic - great spread and variety, dining area was clean and staff were attentive.

Cons:

The rooms felt dated - bathroom was old and the tap was so close to the sink that using it was uncomfortable. The room wasn’t advertised as having a bath/shower which made it challenging for my husband (internal prosthetic leg) and soap/lotion etc felt very average for the Pullman.
Just felt like we’d stepped into a room from the 90s.

From the start, the negative attitude I got from the desk staff, then the blonde on the help desk looking me up and down, like I was wearing something she owed. As it was the day Mastercard comm bank went down, when unable to access my account the staff made me drive to an atm for money for a bond, I spent that on dinner that night. So an hour later I got back to hotel, pissed off. It’s not like I was at a 5 star hotel. Ohh and the reception I got when back, I wanted to cancel straight away and stay elsewhere.
So the pool experience, OMG was as cold as pentridge hotel was disgusting when it’s winter, I have a 7yr old that could of ended up with a cold. no staff checking heating, and when mentioned to a manager he came in to check, and an engineer was there within 10 minutes. Too late for me, I was checking out after a two day stay.
The pizza I ordered from the kitchen when it arrived, soggy, no crunch at all. Offered a drink and free chips. Really that’s all you could have done, and when it did come back I saw and tasted no difference still soggy and cold.
Ohh and we couldn’t do hash browns two days running, roasted spuds wasn’t what I wanted for breakfast.
Check out what an uninspiring experience, when asked about my stay I was honest and your staff were VERY quick to offer free parking which I took. Now just because the police and media were at your east Melbourne hotel sorting out a football discretionary issue, fobbing my experience at your hotel didn’t go down well.
Your hotel was recommended big time and you failed in every customer service and polite courtesy possible.
