Excellent location - excellent staff.
Pros:

Location- very central. Staff was very helpful with early check in and recommendations for our stay.

The building and many facilities are so original, you do lose out on modern comforts.

Lovely stay!
Pros:

Beautiful old palace filled with antique furniture. Friendly and welcoming. We were lucky enough to have the gardens and pool to ourselves on our visit which felt like such a luxury especially for the temperatures we experienced on our trip. Would certainly recommend and would stay again if in the area.

Mucho encanto y buena ubicación, aunque la comodidad podría mejorar
Pros:

La ubicación del alojamiento nos pareció muy buena. Desde el hotel pudimos desplazarnos caminando a diferentes puntos de interés, lo que fue muy cómodo y nos permitió disfrutar mucho más de la zona.

Nos alojamos un sábado y nos comentaron que había un parking cercano donde se podía dejar el coche a un precio más económico. Finalmente, el coste era algo más elevado de lo que nos habían indicado, por lo que decidimos buscar aparcamiento en una de las calles cercanas.

El Palacio como edificio es, sin duda, uno de sus mayores atractivos. Se nota que es un lugar con mucha historia: las escaleras con sus grandes escalones, las puertas de varios metros de altura, los detalles antiguos... Todo tiene mucho encanto. La habitación seguía esa misma línea, con un estilo clásico y muy acorde al edificio: cama con dosel, techos y paredes altas, una pequeña librería-tocador e incluso el mueble del lavabo del baño con un toque antiguo muy bonito.

Además, hay que destacar la hospitalidad del responsable del alojamiento, que fue encantador, muy atento y paciente en todo momento. Sin duda, un punto muy positivo de la estancia. También fue un detalle encontrar en la habitación una cafetera, un hervidor, galletas y bombones, algo que transmite mucho cuidado hacia los huéspedes.

La zona exterior también tiene mucho encanto. La piscina no es muy grande, por lo que no está pensada para nadar, pero es más que suficiente para refrescarse y relajarse después de un día de calor. Además, cuenta con un jardín amplio con césped y tumbonas, y una zona con un pozo y algunas mesas que resulta muy pintoresca y agradable.

En definitiva, es un alojamiento con muchísimo encanto, muy bien situado y con una atención excelente. La experiencia podría haber sido mucho mejor solucionando detalles como el problema de las hormigas y, sobre todo, la adecuación del colchón a la cama. Estos aspectos hicieron que la valoración final bajara, aunque el lugar tiene una personalidad y un encanto muy especiales.

Cons:

Como aspectos a mejorar, aunque la habitación en general estaba limpia, nos encontramos con bastantes hormigas, incluso en la cama, algo que resultó bastante incómodo. Además, la cama fue el principal inconveniente de nuestra estancia: aunque la estructura era amplia y acorde con el estilo antiguo del lugar, el colchón no parecía tener la medida adecuada y era más pequeño que la base, lo que hacía que hubiera poco espacio útil para dormir y que la noche no fuese todo lo cómoda que esperábamos. Sería recomendable instalar colchones de la medida exacta o indicar claramente este aspecto en la información de Booking para evitar expectativas equivocadas.

Unique experience, wonderful host.
Pros:

Unique stay in a beautiful Palacio, wonderful friendly and helpful host, excellent location. Beautiful internal gardens and pool to enjoy after sightseeing, very peaceful, extremely comfortable beds and amazing nights sleep. Rooms with garden views amazing. Extra touches including chocolates, biscuits, cakes and coffee in room and information on places to eat and visit in Jerez.

A calm oasis in the middle of Jerez
Pros:

The palace is in the perfect place in central Jerez - just off the main square but still very quiet. It’s very comfortable with lots of cake, chocolate and biscuit treats on arrival. Our host was very friendly and let us check in early and leave bags after check out. He also sent a detailed list of nearby places of interest.
The garden is a lovely calm place to relax and cool down with a nice pool.
A bargain price.
We ate next door at Bar Lucce which was fantastic

Cons:

It is is an old palace so if you’re looking for somewhere modern and perfect it won’t be for you. However if you want to stay somewhere interesting with soul we’d definitely recommend

Desconexión y tranquilidad en el centro de Jerez

Poder trasladarnos por un día a otra época. El alojamiento respiraba historia.
Los muchos detalles de la habitación, el agua, los amenities, que te den toallas para la piscina, los frutos secos, magadlenas, café... tenía de todo.
