A special mention goes to Rajanish for his outstanding services. He was professional, attentive, friendly and ensured that we were comfortable throught our experience.
This was my first five star experience,
the combination of food and warm hospitality services made our visit memorable.
Will be definitely returning soon ♥️
One of the best and most beautiful hotels in Kathmandu! Great service, extremely helpful and communicative staff, and central location. Helped organize an international conference with more than 500 participants and everything was organized smoothly.
Specific gratitude to Barsha, Muskan, Shisham and the housekeeping staff for making the stay for all delegates comfortable and memorable.
Thank you guys for the wonderful service. You guys took care of us very well. Looking forward to seeing you soon
Our stay was very memorable and comfortable. Muskan from Guest Relations was so warm and thoughtful—she guided us, planned our day, and suggested Samyaroof Garden as her go-to place, which we absolutely loved. Her kindness and care made us feel truly welcomed. She is amazing. Thank you to the entire team as well.
I had a wonderful experience at Hotel Yak and Yeti, especially at the Club Shangrila VIP Floor. The hospitality, professionalism, and overall atmosphere were excellent throughout my stay.
A special thank you to Shradha, who looks after Club Shangrila so well. She was extremely attentive, courteous, and always ensured guests felt comfortable and welcomed.I would also like to appreciate the outstanding service provided by the two servers, Amar and Suman. Both were friendly, professional, and very prompt in their service. Their warm attitude and dedication truly made the experience more enjoyable.Thank you to the entire team for the excellent hospitality. I look forward to visiting again.

Everything
Very high end hotel in the center of the city. Great staff and service. Very clean and comfortable. Spa and health center were a nice surprise. Breakfast was excellent. Would highly recommend
Very well taken care off, great food and ambience. Everyone was very warm and sincere with the service provided. Exceeded our expectations. Felt right at home especially after returning from EBC.
Recently came back from Nepal and had a good stay at Hotel Yak & Yeti. The hotel location is close to “downtown”, so there are quite a few places that are within walking distance. Due to our schedule, we had check in and out of the hotel a few times within 2 weeks. The staff we encountered were always nice and friendly.
We had stayed at both the new wing and the Heritage wing. Personally I prefer the new wing as it’s more modern.
There are a lot of variety at the breakfast buffet, and the service staff are attentive. We had the pleasure of meeting the following individuals who made our stay special:
Saligram (maitre d), Rajendra (at the omelette station), Naresh (who introduced us to a variety of dosa), Anisha (who always greeted us with a sweet smile), Jhapad and Pramod (they made sure we got our tea and drinks), and also John (who had also took my orders of dosa).
On our last day we attended a tour of the palace ground given by Muskan at guest services. She gave us a lot of historical information and background of the hotel, and we thoroughly enjoy this tour as we learned so much more about the hotel (which was a palace) and Nepal’s history. We were so glad we found out about this tour and Muskan was available to guide us.
Overall I enjoy my stay and would consider staying there again if I go to Kathmandu in the future.
Y&Y Hotel, at one time a palace, provides spectacular and colorful gardens surrounding the pool and tennis courts and is located just a couple of hundred yards away from the main street of Kathmandu producing a quiet area away from the incessant traffic. The Garden of Dreams and National Palace Museum are easily within walking distance. The interior of the hotel is an art gallery. In addition to the pieces of art punctuating the lobbies and convention center, the hallways feature artistic pieces of all kinds. While we only ate breakfast at the hotel, the buffet was quite varied with foods for everyone. The staff were congenial and helpful in every occasion, but particularly the Concierge went out of her way to help us. She was almost like a friend by the time we left after our several days at the hotel.
Book a suite room and you will experience the best services Nepal can offer... Personal manager, best staff and service..
Lovely property, very nice service, clean always, well maintained and manicured, good food, room service was always prompt
There are so many wonderful things to say about this hotel. It is an a great location, it is a beautiful facility, the grounds are magnificent, and the staff is amongst the best I have ever worked with. They are professional, friendly, efficient and definitely aim to please! We stayed here for eight nights and enjoyed every minute of our hotel experience. The only slightly negative experience we had was massages. Neither one of us had a great experience with that, but they were adequate if not exceptional.
Beautiful and authentic Nepali property
Best hotel in heart of city. Floor manager Ms Upreti was very helpful in providing the room with best view of garden.
