Beautiful hall and gardens with facilities, food and staff to match!
Pros:

Being out in the Shropshire countryside you get grand opulence and refreshing nature in equal measures.

Cons:

The only risk you MAY have is that it is primarily a wedding venue and, as such, will have events frequently. If you are looking for a peaceful stay, it would be worth calling in advance to be sure.

Pros:

The pictures don't quite provide the wow factor of actually seeing the hall in the flesh. The staff were extremely friendly and very pleasant. We received a glass of prosecco on arrival, as we were celebrating a birthday. One of our rooms was not as generous as the other room and was very warm. A quick chat with reception to see if anything could be done and I was moved to a cooler, larger room. The evening meal was beyond delicious. The service was exceptional and we had a wonderful evening in the library for pre drinks and then later in the lounge for after dinner coffees.

Cons:

Having to leave.

Beautiful hotel, beautiful setting and amazing food!
Pros:

Rooms were exceptionally clean, beautiful and comfortable. Ate in both nights we stayed and the food was amazing. Being dairy free and don't eat meat they accommodated me every night. tweaking menu slightly. The homemade rosemary bread was to die for Hotel was situated in an absolutely delightful setting with a very long long drive up to it passing the golf course. Its a single track but don't worry there's a single track out and its gated.
Dressing gowns and slippers are provided, a nice touch for chillaxing in the evening.
I loved every minute of being in this hotel and would definitely recommend and be more than happy to go back if we were in the vicinity again.

Cons:

Blind didn't work in bathroom and cleaner didn't wash cups from previous night. We did think the cleaner would address the blind when coming into clean but when we came back in the evening it was still down. So maybe that's our fault for not reporting sooner and being presumptuous. The hotel doesn't have an electric vehicle charger but we were directed to one 10 minutes away on an industrial unit

However this wouldn't put us off going back to this fabulous hote.
