The staff was amazing top to bottom. Valet, check in, bar staff. Everything was great.
Awesome place to stay and the staff was awesome as well Dinner was great the female waitress went out of her way to help us enjoy
The suite worked well for us.
Not enough plugs in the room
Clean hotel
Roof top pool and bar
Having a bath in bathroom
Location - walking distance to bars and restaurants
Gym was great! Lots of equipment and spacious
My room wasn’t ready when I arrived at 3.30pm and was told it would be ready in the next 30 mins.
It still wasn’t ready an hour and a half later which was strange.
The view overlooked the atrium of the hotel, rather than outside (couldn’t see outside properly).
Shower made a loud sound continuously when in use (only used it once as used the bath instead but a bit odd)
I did expect a bit more as the hotel was in the expensive side compared to others in the area
Staff are polite, room is clean and comfortable. My 19th floor room was a bit tired and had constant noise from neihbouring air conditioning. The bed was good. I had to wear ear plugs to sleep
Friendly, accommodating staff. Nice property. Will book again the next time we visit Austin. Walking distance to many bars and restaurants.
This was my first time staying at an Omni property and I will be back! Every employee was kind, friendly, welcoming and willing to assist. The food was delicious and beautifully displayed. The options were varied and fresh.
I will never stay at an Omni hotel again. I booked a Deluxe King room, but upon arrival at 23:30, I was told they were overbooked. They "upgraded" me to a queen suite that was a total nightmare.
The room was old, dirty, smelled strange, and had terrible lighting. Worse, the windows weren't sealed, so the noise from 6th Street made sleep impossible. When I called the front desk, they dismissively told me to wait until 2:00 AM for the music to stop. I paid for a luxury experience and received something worse than a budget motel.
The next day, I had to firmly demand the room I originally paid for. The staff acted as if I were being difficult and showed clear reluctance to help. Miraculously, they eventually moved us into our original room type. Unlike the first room, this one was recently renovated and perfectly quiet. I later checked and found that the "suite" they initially forced us into isn't even listed on their official website; it seems to be an inferior room only sold through third-party platforms. To be placed in an unlisted, subpar room and then treated like an inconvenience when asking for what I paid for is unacceptable. The lack of care and professionalism was shocking. Save your money and stay somewhere else.
it was comfortable
The hotel is tired and old. The restaurants had very sorry food menu
Overall fine, but the shower had standing water and as a result, the shower had mold at the corners. Also, the staff entered my room (with permission) to fix something and left a mess in the bathroom. Lastly, the carpeting in the room was coming up in placing - causing a potential tripping hazard. They did offer a $100 off the stay - didn't get it thought. They also offered me a free drink - BTW they offer that to all guests. Expected much better from Omni.
The rooftop pool, deck and bar are not accessible to those who can not walk up three different levels of stairs. This should be noted for travelers anticipating using the amenity so prominently featured in its advertisements.
