Big shout-out to Mike, who checked us in, showed us our room, helped with our luggage, and gave us a tour of the facilities. He was so helpful, welcoming, and kind! It was refreshing to feel so welcomed. Our junior suite room was fabulous, the pool and hot tub were great, even though the heat that week was record-breaking hot! I also loved the breakfast items included, and the cold water bottles supplied at any time. The housekeeping staff was excellent and prompt.
The shower in this room should have grab bars installed. It's a large shower that can get a little slippery and there is nothing to grab onto if you start to fall.
Lovely, cosy, familiar atmosphere, plenty of space, clean and inviting. A magic location - would always come back!
Beautiful property, great location and very helpful and friendly staff
Our entire stay was just wonderful. Very warm, cozy and inviting. Let’s not forget Linda who has so much personality and energy. A quick walk through upon arrival sharing all that there was to offer. The pool, the jacuzzi and shared breakfast room. The outside area is so inviting, lots of lush landscaping and very well maintained. You have to be 21yrs so quiet, peaceful and all adults. Romantic getaway a must…Our room #7 was spotless, great amenities and even had a couple of cold beverages and snacks. Almost feel like they knew you were coming (friends/family). I’m sure we will return in the future.

Easy to find location, restaurants and bars located directly across the street. A breakfast bar available all day.
Palm Springs not much of a walking visitor town, you have to drive to get around.
There are particular times of the year best to visit the Palm Springs area, summer is not one of them.
We were very impressed with the care & attention to detail. Quaint & intimate surroundings. The entire staff (Terri, Linda, Mike)seemed to really care about out experience. We were greeted with beverages & snacks in our room at arrival. Close to all major attractions. They provided a beautiful breakfast every morning.

The personnel were exceptionally compassionate and polite: any of our concerns were fixed within a very short period of time. Continental breakfast was elaborate and fitted many dietary restrictions. Also, kitchen and coffee were available to use 24/7. Old fashion key entry was also handy for those who wished to avoid use of electronics on the Holy days
A few pieces of furniture required repair, we discovered it by accident trying to accommodate a couple of friends. It wasn't anything major so we didn't address that issue right away. We managed using it in its original configuration
Corbin, Linda and Terry were outstanding and made our 45th wedding anniversary stay this past weekend the best experience we could have had. They were so accommodating to all our needs. The room was clean, roomy and comfortable including special snacks and a bottle of sparkling wine commemorating our anniversary. The pool and hot tub were so enjoyable. The coffee and breakfast choices were delicious. This hotel is an easy 2-hour drive from home and a great value including fewer adult only rooms proving an intimate group to socialize with making it attractive for us to return for more stays in the future.
I needed a little reset and this completely did that! This is a really nice boutique hotel with a beautiful pool and hot tub area. My king room was wonderful - equipped with everything I needed. I was able to eat all of my meals there as I had a cute kitchenette. I appreciated the room upgrade. My room was very clean! The breakfast in the mornings was perfect and my room came with free beverages and snacks. Who does that?! They do! The staff checked in with me via text and when I had a question, they responded right away. Location is close to downtown, yet the hotel is quiet. Loved it! Priced just right. I definitely recommend Hotel California and will absolutely be back!
This hotel was excellent, the pool area and sitting area were terrific. Breakfast was perfect although not a lot of choice but perfect. We loved being able to have our little table and chairs just outside our room. It was within walking distance of restaurants. The staff were so helpful and efficient, they were excellent.

From start to finish, this was one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. I was greeted with smiles and a sincere feeling of welcome. They spoiled me with champagne and a room upgrade for my birthday. The entire property is quaint, quiet, welcoming, and just perfect for a romantic trip or a friends getaway.
10/10 I cannot wait to book my next stay with them!
Felt very homey , pool and jacuzzi was perfect ! I believe his name was mike ? But the first night and the first morning we stayed he was so helpful ! And serving ! 10/10 for him ! Really loved the fact that there was no kids lol just adults.
A lot of wind , so blew a lot of trash into pool and jacuzzi but no biggie
I liked the fact they had a Keurig and under counter refer in the room.
The manager was very rude. The room was very dated. Not as pictured on the website, pretty much a catfish. The curtains were gross and our screen slider had a hole in it. Got bit 3 times on my arm and leg by something in the room. Paint on the walls was all chipped off. The pillows were old and smelled musty. The bathroom was very dated. Unfortunately I would not recommend and would not stay here again. Pictures are deceiving.
