The shared bathrooms worked out fine. There was a sink in our room, a fridge and microwave. The little desk had a mirror great for doing makeup. The hotel has its own parking.

The hotel is clean and located in a very safe area, no vagrants around. There's a bus to downtown Santa Monica right outside the door. Trader Joe's (supermarket) was an 8 minute walk.
Staff were friendly and efficient. It was quiet. Bathroom is shared, but you get what you pay for - and the price is very affordable for L.A..
The mini-fridge in my room was spacious, and had a real freezer, which is a nice unexpected perk. I was able to keep ice-cream in it.
The mattress was very good and comfortable to sleep on.
The only real disadvantage is that there are no coffee or tea making facilities in the room, or in the hotel itself. I couldn't even use my BYO instant coffee, because there's no boiling water. The nearest cafe is ~7mins walk, but it only opens at 8am. If they added a vending machine for coffee it would have been awesome.

A little noisier than some hotels, but not too bad. And, they provided ear plugs.
L'emplacement est agréable, dans un quartier calme et très sûr, avec un accès facile à la jetée de Santa Monica.

Les chambres et les sanitaires communs sont propres.
La chambre était très petite, mal équipée et peu confortable (pas de table, ni même de table de chevet, une seule chaise, pas de machine à café, rien pour poser les babages, et le portant à vêtements était quasiment au dessus du lit); de plus le lit était un peu trop mou.
Le fait que les sanitaires soient communs engendre de nombreux bruits de portes et de pas dans le couloir durant la nuit et au petit matin.
Très bonne situation, dans un quartier où on se sentait en sécurité.
Douches communes tres agréables avec évier dans la chambre également.
Parking facile et gratuit ce qui est non négligeable pour un séjour à LA
Juste un long temps d’attente pour le Check In pour notre part. Je pense que c’était un jour sans car le personnel était plus que sympathique

Location and price were a good match. The hotel had free parking and was close to other places without having to be in LA. Staff were friendly.
The doors to the rooms were not really secure.
It's practically a hostel at a hotel price. The shared shower didn't have a lock; anyone could walk in while you were showering. There were only two shared bathrooms for the number of rooms, and nowhere to put your things while showering, so you had to leave them on the floor outside. The quality of the bed and towels was very poor and they were small. I'd prefer to go a little further away and find a proper hotel or pay a bit more somewhere else nearby.

Dużo jest pokoi w tym hotelu i nie wszystkie są dobre. Dostaliśmy pokój gdzie prawie wszystko było złamane, wtedy poprosiliśmy o zmianę pokoju i dostaliśmy inny. Pokój był p wiele lepszy o większy, no ale materac był krzywy,po środku był wyleżany dół o ciągle do tego dołu zjeżdżaliśmy. Byliśmy tutaj 3 noce o plecy strasznie bolały spiąć na takim materacie.
Ściany między pokojami cienie, słychać wszystko 😂

At $166 the room felt very over-priced for what you get but I guess the cost is taking into account location as it's somewhat close to Santa Monica Beach (12 min drive, 1hr + walk). The guy at check in and the other guy at check out were both lovely, friendly and helpful. Bed sheets and room were clean.
Room was felt like a fancy jail cell haha. There was a window - blinds the opened up onto a public seating area where I assume people were eating brekky. The shared bathroom has one hook next to the shower door, but doesnt have anywhere to put your stuff when you take a shower. Easiest to go in there with your towel and flip flops only and walk back to your room in your towel (which is a lil awkward of there's fellas in the corridor). At $166 it felt a pretty overpriced. I would've felt better about it paying $100 tops.
