Guests are advised the same card that was used to make the booking will be required to take the payment.

Pets are welcome - there is a £15 per pet per stay supplement. Also a £100 damage deposit is required at check in- this is returned at check out - minus the £15 supplement & and any damage.

Pets are welcome to be in your room, bar & lounge areas - pets are not permitted in the main restaurant.

All minors must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.

If an extra bed is required please call The Angel Hotel to confirm. Subject to availability.

The entire hotel is non-smoking - any evidence of smoking in the room will result in a £250 fine.

Pros:

Location was great! Right across the street from the castle and the adjacent park! A 5-minute walk to all the pubs and shops! Breakfast at £10 was a great deal.

Cons:

The building could use some TLC. A lot of TLC, in fact.

Ok if you need to stay in central Cardiff
Pros:

Location in central Cardiff was why we booked here. Room was clean and comfortable.

Cons:

Very tired and needs an update. A lot of street noise.

Pros:

The hotel and facilities really could do with updating significantly. However the staff were charming and extremely helpful. the location was perfect for our stay.It's a shame that such a lovely building has been allowed to deteriorate so much.

Cons:

decoration, very tired especially the bathrooms.

The staff was friendly

Cons:

It did not look like its pictures at all. The pictures were fancy and awesome, but the hotel was old, dirty, and not like the pictures at all.

It is pure deception.

Staff were friendly & helpful, breakfast was good with plenty of choice.
Perfectly situated for the Castle, Principality stadium & shopping centre.

Cons:

Long walk to room on 2nd floor, only 1 slow lift working & hot water for shower took approximately 5 minutes to get hot.
