Very satisfied!
Pros:

Loved the location! A street over from “shop street” and the staff was amazing! Bathroom hot water temp and pressure was fabulous!

Cons:

My only suggestions for improvement:

Room temp/air was stuffy, need better air flow.

Bed pillows very hard and plastic like.

TV did not have any features to cast from smart phone.

Pros:

Very nice staff, great location, good bathroom, good beds, large room, excellent and varied breakfast with lots of fresh fruit.

Cons:

Such a strange and disturbing paint job in the room. Live music in the bar is a bit noisy — the hotel does their best with this by providing ear plugs and recommending leaving the excellent air conditioning running at night.

My favorite stay in Ireland, and the best value.
Pros:

The ambience of the hotel was exceptional. It was well kept and very historical. The room was spacious and very clean. Even when I requested no maid service on the second day, the staff left bottled water at my door. The breakfast included with the room was exceptional. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Cons:

It was difficult to figure out how the electrical outlets worked, what switches operated which lights or outlets.

Hotel is in an excellent location and very representative of Galway culture and lifestyle
Pros:

Delighted that we were located right in the city centre. Live music each night a bonus and whilst the staff warn it may be a bit noisy and provide ear plugs, we were on the second floor and not troubled at all. Reception staff were terrific and of a high standard in the bars and restaurant. Quirky bedroom designs were very comfortable and a real change to stays elsewhere in Ireland. Parking outside to offload was useful.

Cons:

A few more vegetarian options on the menu would be appreciated. No other issues.
