The location was great. Downtown was very close, in walking distance.
It was all good.
L hôtel est superbe, en bordure de la rivière. Chambre confortable.
Nous n'avons pas eu un bon accueil.
Au petit déjeuner idem, personnel pas souriant.
Restaurant and bar were outstanding. Room was very clean and well appointed.
Parking-to charge for parking is a new experience for me; it has NEVER happened before in an open air lot. I hope they spend some of the money to replace the marking of the spots. The current ones are almost unreadable.
The only thing great about this place was the view. Loved being near the water. But the staff at the front desk were awful. They were rude and just not friendly. Completely unhelpful and a sense of no care.
Like I said the view was the only good part.
Excellent location, extremely clean, great facilities and restaurant. The staff was very helpful and friendly and checked in every day via text to see how we were doing!
We liked everything, the only thing I would have loved would be loaner bikes as it’s right next to the bike trail. My only suggestion, but the property and facilities were excellent!
Staff was really helpful
It’s clean, convenient and very well run. The staff is friendly and professional. We had the opportunity to meet Zach, the GM who was kind and helpful.
Make to mistake: this is an old old hotel, with everything that comes with age: old, dusty, faded carpets that look like they haven’t been vacuumed for the last 10 years, chipped and worn off furniture which was beautiful once upon a time, gorgeous antique chandeliers in the lobby and a cozy bar, complete with good size drinks.
Is it worth its price? Nhaa. I’d rather stay in the Strater downtown: same old charm/annoyances, but it’s in the middle of things, it’s just a short walk to all places downtown. It did not help that the Front Desk lied to me about Uber not working in Durango and recommended two Taxi services instead… Not going back

Great location, staff and cleanliness
Location balcony riverview; access to trail
Two sinks;one separate from toilet area! 🙂
Room was fine. Not having to beg to get the room cleaned daily was a plus. River view was quite pleasant as advertised. We were rather surprised with the $14 pd parking charge in Durango—Dallas or SF it isn’t!! Perhaps they are trying to gouge in order to pay for the pop corn ceiling replacement. This should be spelled out more clearly when booking and not appear quite so devious
Great staff. Good restaurant. Great night’s rest
Comfortable view with lovely river view
