Lovely location and period building, friendly and helpful staff.
Pros:

Staff very friendly and helpful.
Lovely location and building.
Dinner was very good.

Cons:

Shower was a bit limp. Could do with new decent shower head.
No breakfast or staff available in the morning. Not a massive issue but wasn't aware there was no service in the morning.

Er bleek geen kookfaciliteit (fornuis, pannen), terwijl we daar wel op gerekend hadden

Staff was friendly bed was comfortable but overall didn’t suit are needs as we’d hoped
Pros:

Location was good and we had parking. Liked to large window seat .

Cons:

Breakfast wasn’t available, evening food had finished by the time we arrived. My booking was advertised as been a room with a bath but we only had a shower(bath was a booking point for us as husband had taken part in an ultra marathon). The room was very hot and windows didn’t open at all. We did have a fan in the room but it did help much. But with all this been said in was an ok stay .

Very comfortable stay in an old characterful inn.
Pros:

Lovely old inn with lots of character. Huge room and very comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Quiet overnight and easy to park in the car park. I had a great sleep!

Cons:

The bathroom was a little tired but perfectly functionable. Nothing else.

Room hot,furniture dated, odd cups with tea stuff, excessive mould in shower ceiling, shaving light not working, lighting in room poor, bulbs blown in ceiling light

Pros:

No breakfast. Dinner was good, off the menu. Room very comfortable though hot cos of South facing window, maybe thicker curtains would help.

Cons:

Being able to have breakfast as I did last time I stayed abt 12 or 14 years ago, otherwise all good

I had a lovely stay at the Red Lion. From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel incredibly welcome. The room was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and provided everything I needed for a relaxing night's stay.
