Delighted in Orangeburg
Pros:

The location really served our purpose and it was located conveniently to restaurants and coffee shops. The room was very clean and neat and many items like soap, shampoo etc were provided.

Cons:

We would have loved a dip in a pool or passport to walk over to Hampton seeing they are both Hilton properties.
The room was very clean, but with 6'2 person a little tight to get around.

Pros:

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. I grew up in Orangeburg and passing through for a visit I did not have high expectations.... But wow! Every staff person I interacted with was kind, friendly, and proactively looking for ways to make us feel welcome. The facilities were clean and inviting. They have 24x7 coffee in the lobby, a pool table, complementary breakfast.

Cons:

No notes. Everything was perfect.

Pros:

I love the breakfast, something for everyone , even the picky eater. I love how every thing was set up with spaced between each station. Eating space was like a beautiful cafe. We love the desivv

Cons:

I can’t think of anything, we enjoyed our stay. Hats off to the hotel designer engineers. They thought of everything with great detail.

Pros:

Not our first choice as we initially considered a Hilton sister property but came to find out, that evidently the other hotel utilizes "surge pricing" which made staying there fiscally unattractive. We decided on Tru which was within eyeshot from the Hampton Inn. Also, lots of other options within two blocks.
Good first impression walking thru the doors - bright and expansive area. Front desk staff was welcoming. Directly across from the elevators were different boards that listed local restaurants, bars & other "nice to know" things; very convenient.
Our room checked all the basics and appeared spotless. Breakfast was as to be expected.
Some issues checking in and out; either tech issue or operator error, but it all worked out.
