檜風呂! 朝1階で軽食がとれるようになったのが嬉しい改善
The hotel was very close to the Tsukiji station but this required a change of lines at Ginza if coming from Tokyo station. The staff were pleasant and we were given a local Izakaya recommendation for a drink when we arrived late which was just what we felt like. The rooms are small but well appointed, we enjoyed the Japanese style bath. There were blackout blinds which were needed at this time of year.
We definitely didn’t have a city view with the window looking out onto a wall. The breakfast offered was limited but nice to have.
Calming and the enoki tube is amazing after a long hike!
It's not just this hotel but the hotels in Tokyo in general, unexpectedly small though I wish my room had a better lookout!
Frokost annerledes enn i Europa
we liked that the hotel it is not part of any mainstream chain, hence it is very authentic, well positioned in Ginza. Staff is friendly.
Despite we booked the top room, let's say that space was not in excess, but this is Tokyo, so it is fine. I would have loved to have the possibility to open completely the windows
All staffs members were very nice and friendly. Especially, Mark was accommodated us very well. My daughter was delighted about his East Coast English accent and we enjoyed sake time with him at hotel. He did " omotenashi " very well. The Japanese wooden bath was wonderful. It was a short walk to Tsukiji market so we enjoyed some fresh fish and bought some Japanese tea ceremony things which Mark told us about the shop. My daughter was very happy to do some last day of shopping in Japan. Also we visited " team lab" in Toyosu which we could a taxi.
I could say, nothing that we did not like. Everything was great. It was last night in Japan and we chose this hotel for the last night was awesome idea.
Wonderful staff!
Our room did not smell very fresh.
Elegant, understated, clean, minimalist
Nothing.
Everything
Colazione minuscola e senza assortimento
Clean, comfortable and central. The amenities provided were lovely and the bathroom and bath were spacious. Good tv with Netflix too. The free welcome tea and coffee/bread/yoghurt in the morning was a great touch. Reception staff were wonderful and helpful.
My only gripe was that my window opened into the side of a another property so there was so view or natural light.
The staff were friendly.
The bathroom had mould and was generally not well cleaned. We raised the issue with the staff and they tried to clean it but the mould remained. The hotel has not been well maintained. Our room rate was AU$750 per night and we expected a clean room. The toilet drain had a foul odour. This may be a Tokyo problem? But the hotel maybe could do something to address the issue? The breakfast offering is just a Bento box slightly bigger than an airline meal, and it was heated up in a microwave. Very disappointing. Poor quality percolator coffee and pastries. We have stayed at 6 hotels during our travel through Japan and this was our worst hotel experience. I would not recommend this hotel. There is also noisy building and construction works being carried out across the street, whilst out of their control, it would have been good to know this when booking.
