facilities
15 min walking from the city
The bathroom smells like sewage.
The toilet smells extremely like cigaret smoke.
The sheets smell bad.
Also they had to downgrade us so we could get 2 rooms on the same floor but no refund .
They could have canceled our booking so we could get a family room in an other hotel,
but they did not want to comply.
The hotel was very clean and the staff was incredibly nice and attentive.
Good location - more 'lived in' neighbourhood that has a nice vibe, but easy walking to shops and restaurants of Ginza. The rooms are compact but well designed and the Hinoki bath was a dream after a long day walking. We did have an issue with a smoke smell in our room initially, but the staff were super helpful and moved us to a different room without hesitation. The sake bar in the lobby is a lovely touch.
I think for the level of facilities and standard of the rooms, this was on the more expensive side of what we paid in Japan. The staff cannot be faulted, but the design of the hotel and upkeep are a little lacking based on that price. If you're wanting to stay near Ginza, it's a good option for a couple of nights.
The room was incredibly clean and the staff were very accommodating in letting us leave our luggage prior to check in. They then brought our luggage up to our room before our return so we didn’t need to worry about it. The tub in the room was luxurious and wonderful after a full day of sightseeing.
Nothing, the stay was wonderful!
Compact but comfortable rooms with everything you need.
Rooms not large enough to open two suitcases (but this is typical of Tokyo)
I have never stayed in Ginza before so I was expecting a bustling neighbourhood and thus noisy overnight.
I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet this hotel was given the location. Everything was great. Its a smaller intimate hotel with a welcoming front desk providing helpful information.
I did get an upgrade to a room with the hinoki bath which was fabulous.
The room had modern decor and was more spacious than I expected. Complimentary minibar, nespresso machine, teas and mini fridge were an added bonus. I would definitely stay here again.
nothing
Very cute little boutique hotel in an excellent location, just a short walk from Ginza, Tsukiji market and in close proximity to the underground station, making it very easy to explore the city. The room was surprisingly spacious by Tokyo standards and felt very comfortable. The highlight was definitely the beautiful hinoki bathtub, which gave the room a wonderful natural wood fragrance and made for a relaxing experience after a day of sightseeing.
Considering the size of the room, the facilities, and the location, the price was excellent and I would definitely stay here again.
Everything was great. Thank you
The private bath option, the location and the cozyness
The room was a bit small. But the bathroom was perfect!
Nice little hotel that had all the amenities that we needed. Excellent staff, included breakfast items and mini fridge items. The location is in a very quiet area but close to many conveniences, including the subway. I would recommend this hotel to friends.
We liked everything but the lobby is very small, not really a place to hang out.
