We overnighted in this hotel prior to flight on following day. We checked in late PM and checked out late AM. As such it was a short but disappointing stay. No valet or help with suitcases from car. One person working check in. Convenient underground parking. Room was dull and old. Drapes were dirty and worn. Beds were clean and comfortable. Room decor was Marriott brown from the 80's. Dinner in the bar was surprisingly good. Dining tables near us remained uncleared. Bartender a bit sassy. Our dessert voucher secured us a couple of cookies which were tasty. Check out was self service again.
The property is meticulously cleaned and beautiful! The breakfast was fantastic! It was seriously one of the best hotel breakfasts we have ever had. Cassie, at the front desk was so helpful! It was a great stay, we will be back
Nothing!
Great location in old town, Scottsdale.
Pool is not particularly inviting. The water supplied in the room is seven dollars a bottle. Parking is $30.
Worst room ever. Toilet should be in an elementary school, no headboard, an AC that sounded like a jet engine and road noise that woke me up 3x. Bed didn’t face TV but I guess it didn’t matter since sound didn’t match shows on half of the channels.
The only reason this wasn't a one-star review was that the bed was comfortable and the housekeeping was excellent. That's it.
We were in town for four nights while our German Shepherd had hip replacement surgery. We pulled into the entrance to check in. Four staff members were gathered at the front desk and completely ignored us. Finally, one member assisted us. He was cordial but not warm or friendly. We are Lifetime Titanium Members. We asked for a bell cart and he pointed to it. We unloaded our luggage ourselves and took the cart up to our room. No one offered to assist us. Bottled water was not offered and the water in the room was $7. We paid $500/night due to spring training and while the room was large, it was rundown and desperately in need of an update. The sleeper sofa was awful. You could feel every spring when you lay down so that didn't happen. The bathtub was cracked and peeling; the shower was the size of a coffin and you could not control the water pressure or the direction. The magnifying mirror, which was mounted on the wall would not stay up on it's own. They offer room service but the food comes in a box with plastic utensils. No water came with room service.
This is supposedly a full-service Marriott. We are used to much better from Marriott. We will never stay at this hotel again. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

Our check-in was smooth, and we received a nice room upgrade thanks to our loyalty status. The staff were professional and attentive, they honored our special request. We also enjoyed the complimentary continental breakfast provided as part of our status.
Positives:
Good shower pressure and temperature
Quiet room the first night
Excellent location
Free street parking in front of the hotel
Areas for Improvement:
A plastic water bottle cost $7, which seemed excessive—usually a few complimentary bottles are included for loyalty members.
Only one robe for two people.
Shower setup is unusual, with the shower just inches from the toilet.
The second night, noise from a family above us disrupted the previously peaceful ambiance.
$25 “resort fee” felt out of place for what is more of a business hotel.
No nuts or seeds available at breakfast for yogurt or oatmeal.
Overall, the hotel staff and service were excellent, but a few logistical and pricing details could be improved.
Outdated rooms, not well maintained bathroom
We like everything. Great location, generally great people, and a reasonable price for such a great room.
There really isn't much to not like? Aside from early AM deliveries being very noisy outside our room and the AM front desk lady being not awake or grumpy-ish... lol. It was an absolutely great stay, honestly.
The incentives we received upon checking in were very nice. $15 food or drink credit to use daily while staying in the hotel, 2 hour use of bicycles, 2 hour use of pickleball courts, free dessert every day between 5-6 even though we couldn't take advantage of that at all because we don't eat dinner before 6 and we were never in the hotel around that time! We checked in at 11 on Thursday and when we left for the day Friday, the room was never cleaned. They should have cleaned the room. The included breakfast wasn't much to write about. You had to upgrade to get any substance. Kevin, the bartender was great though! We love Marriott but next time we'll stay at another one. I believe it needs an upgrade.
Very close to restaurants and shops. Clean, friendly staff and very comfortable rooms.
Nothing
What with all of the added daily fees? Thats 1 way to advertise a room for cheaper than it really is.
