A beautiful room overlooking the harbor in a great location with very helpful staff.
Pros:

The location was terrific - right across from the ferry. We were able to easily walk around the harbor, to parliament, the Royal BC Museum and tea at the Empress Hotel. Staff was helpful in arranging transportation to Butchart Gardena and the airport. The view from our room out to the harbor was beautiful! We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect location and great amenities
Pros:

If you are arriving by ferry, the location couldn't be more perfect. The hotel is literally directly across the street from the ferry station. It is within walking distance of the parliament building, museum, shops, restaurants, harbor-front, and the pick-up/drop-off site for many of the tour companies. We chose to leave our car in Port Angeles and are glad we did. We used Grayline to transport us to the Butchart Gardens and it was super convenient. The hotel pool, hot tub, work-out room, and both steam and dry saunas were fantastic. Water temperatures were great and everything was well cared for and clean. Bed was comfy. Concierge was helpful. We ended our evenings in the cozy Fathom lounge with an after-dinner beverage. We would definitely stay at the Grand Pacific again. Thanks!

Reserved bikes the night before and confirmed the reservation at the front desk. Went to ride in the morning and was told all the bikes were spoken for and they did not have our name

Although a bit more pricey, definitely worth checking out for the beauty and location.
Pros:

Staff was very polite, the location was perfect! Central to everything we wanted to do. The Hotel is beautiful, and clean. The beds were comfortable. Unfortunately we did not have time to check out the gym or pool, but from what we saw passing by they were well kept. They could use more parking, however we did have a spot each night (I can see it being an issue when the hotel is at max capacity).

Cons:

The view from our patio was lovely, however if you are looking to sleep in please keep in mind that there are several water plane taxis that begin taking off in the morning, so you can hear them, it's not too loud unless you are a light sleeper. The fridge was on the coldest setting, but it didn't get very cold.

Pros:

ハーバービュースイートを予約した時、なるべく上層階で角部屋を希望したらその通りにしてくれた。スタッフの方々、メンテナンスの人、お掃除の人、皆さん笑顔で親切でした
ホテル内のレストランFATHOMもすごく美味しかったです

Cons:

部屋の電気を全て付けないと、コーヒーメーカーが動かないという配線工事？になっていること、あらかじめ書いていて欲しかった

Staff went above and beyond putting a proper fridge and sharps container in my room for insulin storage and needle disposal. Location was great too.
