Sehr gutes Hotel, wir kommen wieder
Pros:

Freundliches Personal, grosses Zimmer, gute Lage, mit der kostenlosen Strassenbahn oder zu Fuss ist man schnell im Szadtzentrum, ausreichend Lademöglichkeiten in der Tiefgarage.

Erg fijn hotel voor een nacht op doorreis.
Pros:

Nette grote familie kamer, koelkast lekker koud voor een drankje in deze warme zomer. Badkamer netjes en groot genoeg.
Personeel heel vriendelijk, gaven goede uitleg over mooie plekken in de stad en bus en tram verbindingen naar de stad en terug. Dicht bij het winkelcentrum met supermarkt en leuke restaurantjes.

Excellent business hotel in Luxembourg’s European Quarter
Pros:

Novotel Luxembourg Kirchberg is an excellent business hotel in the heart of Luxembourg’s European Quarter and an ideal choice if you have business meetings in and around Kirchberg. The location is particularly convenient for the European institutions, with public transport right nearby. The closest tram stop for me was Euro Parliament, about a 4-minute walk from the hotel.

The room was excellent — spacious, clean and very well equipped, with all the amenities you would expect, including a safe, large cupboard and bathrobe. It was a very comfortable room to come back to after a long day of meetings.

The breakfast buffet was excellent as well. A big advantage for business travellers is that breakfast starts early — from 6:30 AM — which is particularly useful when you have early meetings. The selection was very good and the breakfast was a great way to start the day.

The hotel is also extremely well connected. By tram, it was roughly 15–20 minutes straight to Luxembourg Airport, while the Central Train Station was around 15 minutes away. Getting to Hamilius, which is effectively the gateway to the old town and its many shops, restaurants and lively after-work atmosphere, took around 10–12 minutes by tram. Luxembourg’s public transport is also free, which makes getting around particularly easy.

The staff were helpful and the service was generally excellent throughout my stay. The hotel has the feel of a modern, well-run business property rather than a tourist-oriented hotel, which is exactly what you would want if your primary purpose in Luxembourg is work.

Overall, if you’re looking for a good business hotel in Luxembourg’s European Quarter, go for it. The combination of spacious rooms, good breakfast, helpful staff and excellent public-transport connectivity makes it a very solid choice for a business stay.

Family-friendly hotel, comfortable room, great location
Pros:

The hotel lobby was nicely decorated and felt spacious. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean, neat and tidy. We had a queen-size bed and a sofa bed, both of which were very comfortable. We stayed for three nights with two adults and one child.

Breakfast was good, plenty of choices, including both hot and cold dishes. The only downside was that some of the hot dishes were not kept warm, so, for example, the pancakes and crêpes were already cold by the time we selected them.

One evening, we wanted to have our welcome drink at the hotel’s restaurant/bar. However, we were turned away because we were told they were too busy and did not have enough staff. This did not feel very welcoming, especially as we explained that we only wanted to have a drink, and there were still several tables available.

On Sunday, there was a balloon artist making fun creations for the children, which was a lovely touch. Our child also received a small gift at check-in. Overall, it is a very family-friendly hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located between two tram stations, both of which are only about a five-minute walk away.
