I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.
Pros:

Very pleasant boutique hotel. The staff were very friendly and efficient. We stayed in a twin room, albeit on the small side, it suited our needs perfectly. There were narrow stairs, quite steep steps up to our room but not a problem for us. There are bus stops immediately adjacent the hotel or one can walk to Putney High Street in about 20 mins for onward connectivity by overground train, tube or river ferry.

Cons:

While breakfast was excellent with a great selection on offer, there was always a queue for the coffee machine. That said the coffee when you got it was excellent but a second machine of the same quality would be good.

Pros:

​O hotel é lindo, muito organizado e novo. O café da manhã é excelente, super caprichado e gostoso.
​A localização é perfeita para quem usa transporte público: fica muito perto da estação de metrô East Putney e da estação de trem Putney. Além disso, a região tem vários supermercados ótimos para comprar lanches e comida pronta. Recomendo muito!

Pros:

The room was very roomy and comfortable. I find most hotel rooms in London to be quite small, but the room at The Lodge was quite spacious. The beds were lovely and I enjoyed having a bathroom with a large claw tub!

The complimentary breakfast was absolutely wonderful!

We will definitely stay here again!

Cons:

Nothing to complain about.

Great hotel in Putney. Would definitely recommend.
Pros:

Great hotel, a 5 minute walk from tube and shops. We checked in late after a theatre trip and all worked well. Clean quiet room at the back of hotel, comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast and we sat outside in a lovely garden area.

Cons:

Nothing.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff provided great suggestions and overall excellent customer service.
Well appointed room and very comfortable bed. Very relaxing.

Pros:

The staff were lovely, and the daily breakfast – which was included at the rate we chose – was a treat. The gym is well equipped too.

Cons:

It's petty but the coffee was really, really, weak. Maybe that's how some folks like it but it seems a shame when everything else is great.
