It is not clear anywhere in the booking that the hotel takes £50 and then additionally takes the full amount. The £50 is then not released until after checkout taking up to three days to reach bank account. Likewise you are not informed that there is a £20 daily charge for their car park.
The bed and pillow were too soft and very little room to move around the bottom of the bed. Outlook from window on to a patch of garden with only weeds
Excellent location Near East Putney tube and parking available for a fee (first come first served). I’ve stayed at The Lodge several times but not had breakfast until this morning; I was not disappointed. Good choice and a pleasant breakfast room. The Lodge is comfortable, feels safe and is easily accessible by car so it is our hotel of choice when visiting London.

I’ve stayed 8 / 9 nights over the last 2 weeks - and a number of times over the last few years - and do like the Hotel -
I do like to visit sometimes on a motorcycle- and just find it irritating that there are numerous places where I could park a bike (to the rear of the property- NOT using a parking space - however you still wish to charge £20) I do get paying if the bike takes up a parking space. Given it’s free to park bikes on the road - obviously that is what I did on this occasion- but just seems a little unaccommodating - particularly as these areas remain unused? It’s possible to easily park 3 bikes on one parking space perhaps providing bike parking at a discounted price - would encourage more guests who use bike transport to stay at the hotel. It may ofcourse be the case you wish to discourage guests on bikes ?
